Honestly the 5b shove is not an overplay against such a good player like Adam. He’s literally at the top of his range there, and has tons of hands that are 4b bluffs/ 4b or folds

@@kevincorey5148 yeah tournament crushers like Adam know that not many people are going to have hands to call 4b with basically AK, AA, KK and maybe QQ. So they 4b light a ton in tournaments with hands like A4-5s , Kqs, Ako, 10s, 9s, Qjs, and more. Usually they’ll have a 4b/fold hand it’s very rare that when they 4b they have a 4b/call hand because no one really 5b anymore. So if they’re main goal is to get it all in, they will just size for a shove with the 4b. Tough to explain here and not worth the time but if you think tournament crushers are only 4b with nutted hands boy are you in for a surprise
I feel like your stack management and aggression levels were on point for this tournament...you played thoughtfully but not too conservatively...and a great result was fun to watch. You got it in good and just got beat...but you got really far. Congrats!
You know brad i think nearly everyone in the world would have played the QQ hand the exact same way. You can analyze what ifs all day but you're never not getting it in there and you were wayyyyy ahead. He just sucked out. I think it was well played. Chidwick is a bad boy. One of my favorites. I play here in Houston at Prime, but The Lodge is a great place to play as well. Nice to see Brad improve and keep playing. People don’t understand how intense the grind is and the competition has gotten so much better. It’s a young man’s game.

Your comment about how after the QQ hand you were beating yourself up about how if you had called, you might have been able to take the pot on the flop or river really resonated with me. So many times, I have replayed a hand in my head a few times trying to see how I could have played it differently to get an outcome that was not me losing a large pot, or even having won the pot. Should have would have could have I guess.

I've battled with Whittington and Yousef(Joe) Saleh before. Both very capable gulf coast grinders that have won almost everything from Tunica to Biloxi to New Orleans the past few years. Along with Chidwick, good lord man. What a hideous table but you managed well!!

I’ve been running horrible recently in both tournaments and cash games!!! I had to take a break how do you deal with bad variance? It’s like every time I’m in a tournament I can’t win a flip or full house over full house just brutal stuff hopefully it turns around for me!!! I just know that it will turn around eventually!

Error... early on, around 5:43 you have AK vs AQ, which the opponent hits on the turn. You state that a King is the only card that will help, yet a 10 would give you Broadway as well...
Didn't see it already mentioned in the few Comments I looked at (and am surprised at that).
The 3rd 9, making his Full House fell on the River-- when you could have used a K or 10 to beat his then 2 pair- Qs & 9s.
