Like when people that don't really care for Krump (which is perfectly fine, we all have different taste) watch these battles or are watching an all styles battle and see a Kumper, they feel like the fans are hype for no reason, just being loud and obnoxious, when in reality they're are encouraging the dancer to push out all their rage. That's why the louder the crowd gets, the more intense and erratic dancer becomes. That's also why people see krumpers still dancing when the music stops, because they are purging out every last bit of mental poison they may still have inside.

I'm new to this. I happened on a video of Princess Tchozen about 3 weeks ago, and was awed by her fierceness. I've been watching on and off since then, and I'm loving this art form. They make it look so easy.....I know that is the hallmark of an expert. Does anyone know...? Do they know the songs beforehand and work out a routine and practice it for months? Or is it more in-the-moment? I'm surprised at the small size of the crowds. I do understand why the onlookers can't sit still....!! This Krump thing is addictive.
Using a stabilizer going back n forth is no big deal... because of those random movement we're missing a lot of what's actually goin on... these shots should have been used as filling footage, second shots... when you're filming dance events, its obvious that u have to capture the performer from head to toe in the frame.... the movement of the cameraman is corrupting the dancers energy... for me its just irritating to look at, weird to see that some people dig it... note to the cameraman, focus on the dancers, not on your gear..
Last kbl is perfect example of what i'm talking about... close range... normal angle... no stabiizer... no space at all... surrounded by craziness... still delivering the good footage and all the buckness. Now, look at this, the guy has all the space, manage to cut the frame, daaaaam son... Sure a new Rize could be done, but this is a competition... not a movie
I def don't have any in which I refer to this clip but the one thing I love is the fact that there seems to be a lot of love/emotion etc within the crowd. And, it all seems to be directed towards the music and the dancing and not towards things such as race or what have you. much respect btw BG NAAB was on some Hulk Bruce Banner ish the second round. Still get goosebumps lol

Rick Decibel The definition of dance is any physical movement to music so krumping is dancing and it's art form. The creation and history of Krump is actually very positive and has saved many lives but it doesn't seem like you want to understand it. Also you can't just disregard a style of dance that has an enormous fan base, that holds competitions and events and is always seen at allstyle battles. You may not like or understand it, but you should at least acknowledge and respect it.

Its freestyle, so they may no the song or not, but regardless of if they do or not, nothing is practiced, they fully interpret the music on their own.
