Detroit and Pontiac 20 mins away from each other. Most people in Pontiac got family in Detroit and have lived back and forth, the culture is damn near the same but Pontiac is on an extremely smaller scale. The culture or mentality is more then the geographic location, it’s the FAMILY TIES the people you know, who you grow up around and how you grew up that plays a bigger factor in shaping the mentality of the people in Metro Detroit.
