I would like to know with big bansuris that you cant rest the pinky like this one. With the pinky resting on the flute is very easy. With bass flutes the challenge starts
Sir upto C# Base Flute Resting the pink finger around the periphery is possible need not always be above the flute , the finger can touch the sides and still give great support to balance the flute as convenient to you

I have a problem I am tackling for long time, please help sir, I can easily play "Pa" with all holes closed, but when I try to play "pa" with top hole open, it plays two sounds together, sounds like "ga" and "pa" are playing together😢
I made sure all holes except the top one and the bottom extra one are closed.
My flute is 6 holes C middle flute.
Sir, it's absolutely fine in playing the "Pa" with all the holes closed ✅

We generally close all holes to play Paa, but why are last 5 holes are closed for Paa here
Actually, it my unique style of playing Pa ▶️
If you close all the holes, it will play lower pitch PA
But if you open first hole, it plays higher pitch PA

My g middle flute is producing sound only when some air is flowing out from other side of bansuri
Is this my fault or the bansuri is not tuned?
😅....Basically Flute is designed in such a way that when you blow from one side, the air gets out from the other side ....
