Fantastic and informative video! I had no idea that was where Tim Horton and his family lived. This is a perfect example as to why I love your videos. You shed light on things perhaps not often shown or talked about. You always find interesting things to document in Toronto. Great job Once Upon a City!
It’s a nice little home. Thanks for sharing the history of where Tim Hortons lived with his family. I still remember as a kid walking to Tim’s in St. Catharines with my friend and buying a piece of pie or cake. Still wish they offered that. Great video. 👍😊🇨🇦
Good ol’ Scarberia! I was out driving up to Kosta’s the other day and pointed that place out. Hard to believe NHL players used to work jobs in the off season because the pay was more like regular salaries-higher than most but nothing like the money they get today. Too bad Tim jumped into that Pantera in 1974. Thanks for posting.
Tim Horton's had his demons, his ending was a tragedy and massive loss to his family, NHL and Canada 🍁 Love me Scarberia 🥰 one of the most underrated and neglected parts in the GTA. Much appreciate your thoughts Test 🙂
I grew up in that neighborhood form the 60's to the 90s and had no idea he lived there. The first building on your right walking up the hill was the old Columbia House offices. Used to get free records and tapes from the garbage bins there. haha ... up the road where A&M Recods and Laura Secord were... also great finds in the dumpsters.. haha
Cool Dizz, I did not know about the old Columbia House office or Laura Secord in the area at one time. (One man's trash is anothers treasure 🙂) Much appreciate your comment.
Very cool! I had no idea. Thanks for sharing!
Thank u, Adam 🙂

This is so interesting and so historical. We here in Bangor Maine have had 2 Tim Hortons since the late 1990’s. It is by far the best.
Timmy's coffee is the best, Dave 🙂

We had a Tim Hortons Hamburger Drive in in Port Credit in early 60s, it became a A&W on Lakeshore Rd
Thanks 4 sharing. I read that Tim Horton's first venture was burgers. Much appreciated 🙂

2 bad tim horton been bough by Burger king. A while ago😮
Yup not even a Canadian company now, good old Timmies 🙂
If Tim Horton was still on Leafs defence, guarantee Boston Bruins would not be able to get near Leafs net so easily
100% agree, Jamie.
no way. let the people be
Yes! Let the people have their coffee and donuts 🙂
It's to bad his wife sold out
Tim Hortons coffee is a crappy one and the donuts not healthy no offence
I don't make the coffee or the donuts so no offence taken.
