    Absolutely love this tutorial. Can’t wait to try. I was wondering what you are using to smooth the clay out before putting in the mold. It is at the 18.15 minute mark. Also where I would find one please.

    Hi Deb! I thoroughly enjoy watching all of your tutorials. Since you have used Cernit trans and Premo clays, how long did you bake this stunning faux Larimar and at what temperature? Also, I have been searching for a similar heart mold since Yaroslavl is no selling on Etsy. Any ideas where I could find something comparable? What is the size of your heart mold? I hope you don’t mind my many questions? Thank you!

    • @clayboutique
      @clayboutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks!
      Yes, when using both Cernit and Premo, bake at the higher temp, i.e 275 for Premo. Cernit can withstand the the slightly higher temp. You can’t bake it at the lower Cernit temp of 265, as that would mean the Premo wouldn’t fully cure. As for the heart molds, I have no other suggestions. Sorry.

      Yes. It would bevel the edges.
