“As long as I’ve been alive as a human being?” Wha? Were you alive for a while as something else? Was it a Caribbean flamingo? I want to see THAT TH-cam video!
HI ANDREW WHERE IS THE FULL RECIPE THANKS AND I REALLY ENJOY ALL YOUR SHOWS AND JUST SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR TH-cam CHANNEL AND THOSE MEATBALLS LOOK AMAZING AND I WILL BE MAKING WHEN I GET BACK FROM VACA. THANKS AGAIN
I suspected that the original recipe came from "The Jewish Home Beautiful" which I was "told" included a recipe for sweet and sour meatballs. The cookbook, written by Betty Greenberg and Aletha Silverman, from the Women's League of United synagogue of America. Published in New York and copyright 1941, third printing 1945. That's what my mother always told me. However, I tried to find the the recipe and failed. The closest I was able to find was sweet and sour tongue (page 98). Perhaps my mother and other folks adapted the tongue recipe.
Awesome sauce! Okay excuse the pun. Just wondering how this recipe would play out if you used lamb or goat? Or fish? Salmon? Flounder? Haddock? Swordfish? Blue Marlin? Brazilian pinatado? Vietnamese pengasse? Inquiring minds would like to know. Sorry, the mad scientist in me is coming out tonight. Don't worry about the binge watching. We are all guilty as sin on that one. Yours truly included. I think the whole world should be orange and blue. My parents first Christmas ornament when they were first married was orange and blue and so was my grandparents on my mom's side. Rock on, toothpick lovers.
Why not mix the parts of the sauce together before pouring over the top? My normal method for cooking like this is to have the sauce mixed up in a Pyrex measuring cup before it goes in.
If you do cooking for a livestream you obviously need to have stuff prepped. Its not very interesting watching him cut vegetables and measure ingredients for 30mins.
@@tottorookokkoroo5318 thank you mr. obvious. the comment is on more of the amount and prep that it takes to make what he made. 99% of people don’t even do this on Thanksgiving.

Teaching you how to cook by feel.
Must be nice to have all of those ingredients and prepped for you 😂. So relatable to the home cook

If a one pot meal is too much for you, you shouldn’t be cooking.
