For finding zero of compensator the equation is 0.1×second pole of G(S).why is it so?is this equation constant or will it change?

Why the second pole in step 5? What about the if 4 poles in real axis? Can we take last pole of G(s)?
In step 5, as per formula we have to take only the second pole. If there are 4 poles,the existence of rootlocus on real axis will change.I can't understand the Iast question question

180 degree into 5 divide by 3 is 300 then why you minus 360 degree from it please explain
How can u mark 300° using the protractor? thats why we need to subtract
