Natalie is the only original queen on this show.. makes me kinda sad but the new queens are incredible!

I love how cherelle is a soprano. Shes been taught millies part in the harmony because with her it’s the most amazing harmony at the end as it has a really good balance of sops and altos
There are no Tenors in this show 😂😂 Its mostly Lyric, Dramatic, and Mezzo Sopranos. Altos is a maybe depends on if and how a song key is changed to fit a certain queen.
Darker sounding voices don't always mean that the voice has a lower range

I love the new queens and I LOVE that Vicki is the new Howard... But dang is it weird to see someone new in teal and Vicki in pink!

I saw this the exact same night, and it was amazing! I thought all of them did an amazing job, and before seeing it, I though K Howard was my favourite queen, but now, I honestly have no idea!
On a side note, I was sitting in R6 but I got a terrible video of this, so this is great as it's basically how I saw the whole show, and nothing has really changed. So thanks for uploading this!

How is the view from the back of the slips, was your view restricted at all?
@@herstory4685 Sorry I don't know what AYWD means. The view's pretty good, there was a slight restriction, so when they were on the far right, it was quite hard to see all the queens, which is why it was nice when they were all spread out in a line, it was just a bit irritating in some parts of a couple of songs when they were all huddled there, so I couldn't really see what was happening. But otherwise it was still a great view, and they set it out well so you can see as many people as possible!
First time watching a video from this angle, it's a really great view of everything!

I've noticed through the Megasixes that Cherelle's voice is quite high. Is she a soprano? Curious, because Boleyn and Cleves seem to be better suited roles for women with lower voices, and if she is a soprano, I'd be curious to see what she could do with a role like Howard
Jamie Hood if I were to guess I’d also say Cherelle is a soprano, Cleves tends to have the lower harmonies and Boleyn the higher. But I really enjoyed her Cleves, there was no key change and vocally she was great she riffed on those high notes which gave Cleves a new take!
I’m assuming from the way covers worked previously that Howard would be her second cover so I’m excited for that too.
@@herstory4685 Yeah, she's great! Her voice is amazing, and I'm excited to see what she can do with other roles
boleyn is soprano tho! she takes most of the higher harmonies with howard
@@bethraithby5437 Really? The high note in her song seems much lower than other queens, like Howard and Seymour, whose songs are super belty, and Parr, who has a lot of high riffs
@@jamiehood850 That's because the Boleyn high notes are in chest voice rather than head voice, so they still sound 'low'. At least, they are when Christina and Millie performed them. Aimie and Natalie both mix or use head voice (or whistle tone) in their solo songs on the OCR, so their high notes sound like higher notes.
Because pretty much any woman seems to be able to play any of the queens, I'm guessing that the actual ranges on the songs actually aren't too far off from each other. Otherwise, they would need to have at least one alternate for each range, and it wouldn't be so easy for them to cross over to other roles.
