Ma'am we heat the smear after pouring carbol fuschcin on the slide in case of ZN stain. But we don't heat slide after pouring Auramine stain in case of FM staining. Ma'am why we not heat the slide.
According to my research Auramine O binds with the waxy cell wall of the organism so it gives the yellowish colouration in the microscopy While in the case of ZN the waxy cell called mycolic acid has to be broken so the dye (carbolfuchsin) can penetrate the cytoplasm by the introduction of heat applied
Very helpful information, and demonstration is also very helpful for microbiology students like me.thankyou
I love this, I learnt alot from this
Excellent and explaineda beautifully. Thankyou!
Why was the smear not coiled?
Thanks alot for this video.. I just subscribed ❤️❤️
