- This is the exact version that pete tong played as his essential new tune in 1996 on 3beat records. When it came out a few months later on FFRR the track was noticeably different. First was the "der derrr" it sounds much more electro on FFRR and the disco feel was gone (my opinion) also the vocal seems to flow much nicer on this original version.

This is the exact version I love so much, but it's very sad that Prelude Records refused permission for the original version of Musique's "Keep On Jumpin" to be used on their single and had to be re-vocalled. The re-recorded version that was released on FFRR just sucks, in my opinion.
I wonder how they got away with that then using it on the annual two Pete tong mix? They must have paid them off.

I can remember rushing through to the back room at Love To Be... just because they were playing this! And as I was reliably informed, they couldn't get clearance for the Musique sample and had to try and recreate it in the studio.

Fuck yes, far better than the officially released version with the samples reproduced. As usually is the way. Sad they couldnt clear the samples, porbably way too much money asked to do so.
