• 2019 Honda CB500X AUS...
Just filled the gas tank on my Honda XR190. Very impressive results. 9.1 litres used in 406 kl travelled under various speed and conditions.

I have one too and completely agree.I have ridden road bikes in the past but bought this one mainly for our 200 acres and decided i wanted to stretch her legs out on the road,so i registered the little beast.Still running in,i had the mud guards and bark busters fitted and thats fine.On our gravel roads i have been cruising in 4th at about 60-70ks and on the old hume hwy knocked her up to 5th for 90 and it went great.I use the rever app to track my rides about the place.Might want to look it it up then you can share some of your runs.Its from the US but still useful for us aussies.Cheers and happy riding!😉✌️👍☀️

I have just got the 2020 model, I have just done 750km, highway use, I weigh 120kg and fitted a 17 tooth front sprocket, my fuel economy is 3.2 li per 100k, = 30kpl, still very impressive
that's something I've been thinking about and may do at a later date too
what's the top speed on highway with the stock front 15 tooth and now with the 17 tooth front?

overall a pretty nice easy to ride bike at a good price
I had a Honda NXR 125 in high school which was 11 years ago. Solid bike, really reliable, did lots of road and offroad. Did struggle on the inclines though being a 125cc. This 190 should get the job done.

Have done 18000km so far and not experienced problems with XL CT 190 except fuel supply cut problems when there is 5 litres of fuel remaining in the tank. What could be the problem and how to fix it?
with 18k on the clock i would be taking a look at the fuel pump and see how clean it is or if it require cleaning.
i know on the enfields the pumps suck up rubbish and block fuel supply and when the tank gets low on gas-the problem arises...just a thought.
Do you still own the xr190l -if not, reasons and is it still a good bike?
no longer i just go though a few bikes. nothing wrong with it at all. a lot betterthan some bikes i bought. in fact i actually sold it to a friend.
believe me-you dont sell something to a friend if its no good...if you want to stay friends

Just got mine, very happy! Has anyone changed sprockets to get a higher top speed? Also, are there after market mufflers and pannier racks for this bike? Having trouble finding anything. Cheers.
_i think after you added a bigger sprocket you'll be battling to get any more top speed -that is unless your running on totally flat terrain and little wind. ive found it runs fine at say 90 kph but the only way to really solve that speed issue is jump straight to the crf300l and it will run at a very good pace indeed_

Impressive on fuel, I am looking for something to run for deliveries( courier) and I do about 300 to 400km a day, what would you recommend?
how about a honda pcx150 or the Yamaha nmax155
what's the top speed? was thinking of buying one to do some adventure touring where i will take some freeway riding
not sure as i have not ridden it yet, but i believe 100 kph or 60 mph would pull it up but i bought it mainly for dirt road use
thinking about one of these for hunting, what do ya reckon Warro?
overall I think its a pretty good light reliable bike or that's what I think so far. easy to move about and does what it is suppose to do with excellent fuel economy
Hey Warro, do you still have your XR190L? Is it still economical [45KPL] and reliable?
its done 4000 klm to date-still round the 40 to 45 kpl with no issues
At 9k km i got oil leaking problem from front left side fork
good warranty in Australia so if problem arises they always come to the party
How does it look like when using the right stand.
never actually tried it...lol these are really Australia agricultural bikes so thats the reason for both stands -opening the farm gates etc
