The bulk of my collection is definitely Scentsy. I have 3 loaves ( or loaf equivalent amounts) 9 Scentsy bricks. I haven’t counted a new inventory number since 2021. I only count by unit weather a single cube or a loaf it is still one unit. I get excited about every single empty & celebrate everything

I have 23 Scentsy bricks - although many are partials. I have not purchased any loaves, although I helped my mom purchase one from Rose Girls. I prefer pre-chopped if possible!

My collection is definitely Shocking to me!! I haven’t counted how many scoops I have… But I know the number is up there!!
I love this video Xizhou! I’m a total number geek too, I just haven’t been organized in getting my whole collection on a spreadsheet yet. I’m out of the country, but off the top of my head Scentsy is my biggest amount, then a toss up between L3, TB and Enchanted Scent Memories, maybe just about equal! I’ll be interested to see the individual numbers and lbs when I get a chance to go through it all in October. I’d love to get your template as well when you make your next video. 💜

Interesting video. I'm also interested in my consumption of wax (tracking how much I use). If I include pre-orders (not yet received) I think I have about 6 months worth of melting. For me that is a lot. I have reduced the amount of Scentsy I have on hand because they get sweaty after a time - yuck. I also don't want wax to lose scent before I melt. I don't want to have more than 6 months of melting inventory. Most to least, my stash consists of Teddy Bee, Second & Spruce, Scentsy, and roughly equal L3 and Rose Girl. Keep in mind I have never melted Teddy Bee or Second & Spruce :). I don't have any loafs and have a tiny bit of a Scentsy Brick (rather messy at this point). I have really enjoyed my scent journey. Thank you for your inspiration.

Without looking at my spreadsheet I probably only have about 10 loaves, maybe less.

I think I have about 50 loaves in progress mainly bedroom scents in progress. I alternate what I melt of those at least once a day. Its a mixture of mints,lavender blends, other blends and then open concept.
I average 3 loaf empties a month. I have no clue how many loaves I have but its quite a bit.

@@XizhousScentStudio unfortunately that's only finishing 36 loaves avg a year and you know I have more then 50. My biggest month was finishing 5. I need to finish about 8 a month honestly but I don't see that happening.
At one time a friend and I used to split loaves and send to each other. Unfortunately I don't have the ability to get anything shipped out now plus it's not easy to find someone who would do this with you.

@@XizhousScentStudio I just counted and just for full size loaves I'm working on 28. My lavender bin is a bit thin and missing Dreamweaver and another lavender blend. So If I cut those two asap which they are pulled and they really need to be cut. Then 30 in just bedroom loaves I will be working on mainly at night at least my mint container and my lavender and other blends are day blends.
I have 2 other containers packed with different sizes of open blends on a cart. One is various day blends of all kinds and the other is my lavender and mint blends not in loaf size but all different shapes and sizes I'm working on. I get bored and like options so many things are open and in various states of use and I finish at least a few things just from these a week.
Remember I've been meltihg vendor since June 2019 and there's also scentsy and Walmart but mainly vendor. These are my oldest ones for my bedroom and as I finish things sometimes I add more but that's usually to the loaf bins.
Its a work in progress.
@@angelasmeltingmoments3334 I tend to finish what I start within 1 month. So I usually work on 2 or 3 loaves simultaneously

@@thefragrancefairy candles are kinda like loaves. Typical 3 wick is around 14 oz which is about what a loaf is
Could we as a group work on one vendor a week or month?
I know its been done in the past but its great when some of us are doing it together.

Hi Xizhou, fellow statistic nerd here. I have a Q that may be too deep of sharing bc people can get so unkind online…. As you were going thru I kept wondering what is the average price per oz. by vender. Not to know total spent, but to dive into which you feel you get best quantity with performance for cost spent, and to understand how much prices vary between venders. If not share-able, totally understand. The quantity is easy to acquire once we start melting seasonally and having multiple warmers thru home. We build up supply to accommodate each warmer. Or do we buy warmers to help knock down our supply?? 😂 Either way we get to enjoy the scent experience . Thanks for the statistic fun! 😊
@@juliebngracieandolive6750 I track price per oz in my spreadsheet and it varies by a lot It ranges from around 1.1 (L3) to almost 2 dollars per oz. Many are around $1.5 1.6 range. I thought about doing a video like this but I didn't want to be mean to a specific vendor. But personally that info is important to me

@@XizhousScentStudio I’m so glad you understood where I’m coming from. And I too certainly don’t want to deter people from trying/buying individual vendors. When we buy in such quantity, being cost effective is a deciding factor for me, but maybe not others which is fine. We all have our individual motivations. I’m now curious to calculate mine; how much I’ve paid per ounce so far. Ha, one more task on my to-do list of improving my spreadsheet. 🤷🏻♀️😅

I think this is a great idea. You are just stating facts with what a vendor charges per oz, so I don't think that's mean or nasty at all. It is super helpful to a lot of people who care about cost. I think that most of my wax in my collection averages in the $1.50 - $2.00 per ounce range, and I am okay with that. There are a few vendors who have lower prices and there wax is great.....there are a HANDFUL of vendors who are more expensive than $2.00 per ounce, but again very few vendors but that is above the max I am personally willing to pay LOL
I have 1 waxy taffy from destash. I need help on usuage of how much of the candy piece and that.
@@angelasmeltingmoments3334 I use the whole taffy in each warmer. The wax is on the hard side so you may need a hotter warmer
