Another epic SBN adventure! I really appreciate your take on this thru hike of ours. You let the elements speak for themselves during our times of testing with the wind and rain. You captured some amazing shots to showcase the autumn vibrancy. And those bloopers were something else! Still can’t believe yall didn’t help me up the mountain 😛 Can’t wait for the Trail Tribe to reunite in 2024!
Thanks brother! I'm glad bother you were able to join me on this awesome trip! I barely can stand the thought of a trip without my bros! Sorry, but we had to document me trials and tribulations of your camera woes 🤣 Can't wait for the next tribal trip! Hopefully COLD AND SNOWY!
Great video. That wind looked ridiculous. This trail has been on my radar for a bit. Looks like I’m going to have to do some serious cardio workouts first though.
I've been waiting for this one, and it did not disappoint! I loved reliving this trip. It almost makes me want to do it again, even with the lack of sleep. There are some great shots in here: walking across the rock at 2:12, the gnarly log at 6:20, my new cover photo at 8:13 (😉), the windy cloudy sunrise after our interesting night, the transition between the headlamps at 17:06, the colors at 18:30. And those bloopers! I think we outdid ourselves on the bloopers this time. At least your trail name isn't Bussy 🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing, and thanks for inviting me on this epic hike. I looked forward to it for half the year, and it was worth every day I spent waiting. I'll see you down the trail soon, brother!
Thank you so much! If you need a better quality photo let me know 😁. I thought you'd like the headlamp transition. I was honoring Outdoor Operator on that one 😎. Loved the bloopers, especially you trying to make a protein shake at lunch! 🤣
The three Musketeers or perhaps the three stooges? Excellent cinematography. In your hiking experience could you rate that hike on a difficulty scale 1-10?
Well, if you watched the bloopers at the end, then you should have your answer for the first question 😉. I'd give this hike a solid 8 in difficulty. Water was difficult to find, but you could easily cache it along the trail at forest road crossings. The elevation from Davidson River to Black Balsam is nothing to scoff at. Hardly any switchbacks. Other than that, I absolutely loved this trail! Keep a GPS map. There's hardly any trail markers!!!
WOW....simply stunning! That was so beautiful...thank you for taking me with!!
That was a great trip! Always a pleasure to share!
Nice colours, lovely hike. Like the footage, real nice colours and scenery. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you my friend!
Great film. I love the Art Loeb!
Thank you! We enjoyed every moment!
That is surely one amazing area! You really captured such great memories and views for sure! Bruce and Otis
Thank you! I really enjoyed this trip, despite that lack of sleep from the wind 🤣
Wow. Thanks for sharing the trip!
Thanks buddy!
What an adventure!! Looks like you guys had a good time. Thanks for sharing your trip!
Thank you! It was definitely a great time!
5:30 mark……WOW
Awesome sunrise on that ridge top
Great trail with incredible scenery 👍🏻👍🏻
That ending 😂😂
Yes, that first view was a treat! Sunrise on Black Balsam is the definition of Type 2 fun! Gotta love those bloopers!
The Art Loeb Trail is amazing! You did a great job capturing the beauty of the trail. Now you are making me want to get back out there! 😅
You know you want to! 😁
Hey Thanks again for another great video looking forward to the next one keep on humping brother
Thank you! Always looking forward to the next!
Looks like an awesome time. Have a great day.
Thank you!

I did Art Loeb in the spring and loved it,…looks really beautiful in the fall too. Pilot mountain is no joke!
My knees hurt for days!!! 🤣
This trail is on my list for 2024. You did a great job capturing the beauty of this trail. The climbs look brutal but the views make them worth it.
Very true! I couldn't walk right for 3 days after we got home! Get on that stair climber 🤣

That wind was NUTS! We said many times how Cold Mountain to Black Balsam reminded us a lot of the Pine Mountain Trail as difficult it was a few times.

@@Smokeybeesnatural I was about to give up on those protein shakes, but now I realize they have hilarious blooper potential 🤣🤣
@beyondthecampfire 🤣🤣🤣

I really enjoyed your video. What camera do you shoot with?
Thank you! I shot this on a Panasonic Lumix GH6.
