I just realised instead of the 100 Mario challenge in smm1, you can have your goal as reaching 100 lives in the least amount of levels in smm2.

Ryukahr is the only person on the planet to get his own level in Super Expert... not just once, not just twice.... but this is the third time... at least from my recount.
You're's speedrun level there probably could still be done faster if you were to spring drop precisely into the wall jump.

in the process of Ryu playing a random superworld from 3 years ago, "Super P King World" Ryu asked about the ninji's on the world map, and what they mean, i didnt wait to see if he got an answer, but the answer is. It's how many people are currently playing that level in real time.

I can't say for certain. But I would expect that there was 1 of 2 possible different issues.
The more likely of the 2 would be an update that changed loading/spawning sequences. The less likely being a simple difference of aspect ratio influenced the loading/spawning.
I hypothesise you can jump through the saw blades with the star and go under the donut blocks.
if only ryu knew holding down on a donut makes you fall a few pixels faster

I think you should apply a universal rule to all runs both smm1 & smm2 that you ALWAYS skip your own levels
I think you could have saved time on that speedrun level with the sideways springs using the normal vertical spring skipping the wall jumps and just bouncing on the spring to get up. Maybe.

This is why I don't like the endless run with 30 lives. I feel like some of these levels would be considered good levels as standalone challenges (i.e. the fire Yoshi level), but in the context of the endless run, it's not a great level. And so, you 'Boo' the level coming from the biased perspective of the endless run rather than as a challenging level.

On the crazy tight level with the donut finish, was there actually spikes behind the saws? I don't have my glasses right now but, I don't see any. Mayhaps jumping over the door and using twirls with the start power for extra speed and jump distance?

I rly should try Super Ryu World again. Last tried it with touchscreen with Snes9xEx+ on my Android & holy hell that shit's difficult without a controller. Needa find a good nes/snes wireless gamepad for mobile, but they all seem so jank. >

I like SMM2 a lot better than SMM1 in terms of viewing. There's a lot more to enjoy with two imo. So why not create a clause for SMM2 to make it more enjoyable for yourself? You could do a 10 life clause or a troll level clause. Maybe a 15 life minimum on a level before you skip. Cause I know you have to maintain the intensity of Super Expert, no skip. But I think the diversity of SMM2 will make it more worth it.
