YESSSS, they got me too lol I have 3 Sailors now! I believe the “scratchiness” your feeling and hearing is called the feed back. The Sailors are supposed to give the writer the feeling of writing with a pencil. Welcome to the Sailor world and Fountain Pen world!!! Lovely video 😄
Oh that makes so much sense, it does feel like writing with pencil! Thank you so much for your sweet comments, definitely looking forward to expanding the collection of Sailors ❤️
This is on my wishlist! It's beautiful! The scratchiness is more likely "feedback" which Sailor nibs are known for. I like a touch of feedback when I write. Thank you for the review!
I’m so sad because I have been having troubles with some of my TWSBIs. I took one back and still have two that give me troubles. 🤷🏻♀️ I have two other ones that I love and one is in fine and the other med. The ones that are giving me troubles are a stub nib and one fine. The one I took back was also a stub nib that didn’t write like a stub. I do have a Sailor PGS on the way and I hope to get this one as a Christmas gift from my hubby.
For being so expensive you think it would come in a nicer box. My TWSBI is a fraction of the price and came with an awesome case. I still want it but I may buy a case just to keep it safe when not in use. Thank you for comparing it next to the other two as it really shows the size
That is because there are 2 options actually. You can buy it with a very nice looking box and ink, but it cost a bit more, so many retailers are selling the cheaper version without the box.
I just got my first Sailor, also a PGS, a Shikiori Sansui in Navy/Purple…and I totally getcha. At first I wasn’t that impressed, I liked it in the store and compared it to Platinum and Pilot, but coming back home it seemed like an overpriced plastic pen. And then I brought it along to work and used it a lot…and now I can’t live without it. It’s just…the flow, feedback, the way it sits in the hand…And I need more. More Sailors. In all the colors…🥹🥹😭🤣
Enjoyed your video. Saw everyone with Kaweco’s in their pen cases so finally got all sport and like but want an aluminum one. Love the Lilac or violet one but hard to spend $90 for it. I really enjoy most the smaller mini pens. Right now I have been watchin* every video possible to find a pen, around 50 or less that does calligraphy and line variations. Any suggestions?
@The Sex Reporter - I don't know why TH-cam won't let me access your comment :/ but to answer your question, Yes!! This is my everyday writer, and would definitely love to pick up another!

I just got this pen from Pen-Pen avenue!
Have Twisbi Eco’s, Love the Pilot Prera’s, my plastic Kaweco and saving up for a Twisbi rose gold white mini.
What is your most enjoyable go to pen?

Thank you for the support! 😊 It is so much prettier in person, photos and video just don't do it justice!
Just ordered this beauty. Thanks for the demo and comparison.
Oh yay!! I hope you love it 😊
I'm with you --- it's SO PRETTY. Thank you for your review.

Thank you! That was my first thought. I feel like I'd be disappointed in comparison with my TWSBI
