Got another great collaboration for you this time! This is the ending theme to Radical Dreamers. It was originally titled "Le Trésor Interdit", but was re-named to A Vow of Wind and Dreams on the official arrangement album that came out alongside the Chrono Cross/Radical Dreamers remaster, probably to avoid confusion with the Chrono Cross ending theme which in some translations has the same name. Now with that info dump out of the way...
I did this track for Dwelling of Duels last month (finally submitted two months in a row!), and I asked the very talented Animalisa Keys to play piano on this track, and also Shea's Violin to play violin. This track would not have been the same without them so extra special thanks to them for helping me with this one!
Since this is a credits theme and doesn't loop, I stuck exactly to the original song structure for this one. I feel like any major changes to it would potentially ruin the beauty of this piece, so I decided to honour this one by only really changing the instrumentation and adding some sneaky easter eggs. Comment down below if you can find some or all of the 4 Trigger/Cross music references in the piano parts!

Very nice Brandon. Well done everyone!
This is a very beautiful collaborative rendition
Thanks for the beautiful arrangement and opportunity to be part of this! This song is so powerful and it gives me chills every time I hear it!
So that’s what it looks like played. Sick arrangement dude
Loving the collaboration! Great interaction between the parts, this is a great arrangement. Props to everyone for the great work!
This turned out so well! You did such a good job arranging for all these instruments!
Love all the CT nods in the piano!
@@Zsaber64 me too :)
Wicked BBB!!!
I really enjoyed this a lot! It's funny how we planned a collab with Annalisa around the same time, so she's wearing the same outfit for my collab hahaha. This was sick asf! Piano, Guitar and Violin just pleases the ears.
Thanks a lot man! Haha yeah we definitely gave her a lot of work XD
Beautiful rendition.
Really cool! I'm not familiar with the original but it's very nice and very fitting for an ending theme. Great job to everyone it sounds really great!!
Feels almost like a conclusive sendoff to a killer album 🤍
This was really beautiful! Love the power ballad vibes of this one, makes me wanna sing along even though there's no vocals! Excellent job on the mixing too, there's a lot going on here and you've still managed to let each instrument shine through!
Thanks man! Funny enough, there's an official arrangement of this song that came out alongside the Cross remaster that has vocals and lyrics
Coming back again, this is still great. :) we should do another track some time when you've got bandwidth!
Thanks!! I listened to it recently as well and it did indeed turn out great! I'm sure I imagined something with violin at one point but I'll have to remember what it was 😅
This was such a great-sounding collab, the instruments really complete each other in the mix!! The acoustic guitar sounds very nice, do you record it with line in or a microphone? Or mby both?
Thanks! I always record my acoustics with a mic, and I usually double track it for rhythm parts (although I just use line in while arranging and recording scratch tracks)
@@TripleBMusic Ok that's seems like a good workflow! Yeah I've seen people who combine the two and record line at the same time as mic on different channels to get a fuller sound, and you had such a rich tone so I had to ask haha. Cool!
