Tom - you were my introduction to Palantir in 2021. I went big for me with $60k at $21 and sat on it until now. If I had dollar cost averaged through the $7-15 period I’d be even better off but I was cash poor. I was already big into Tesla. You sir earned me some 400% or about $200k, which is life changing for me.
@@rarefruit2320 Hold on to it over the next decade. Do not sell. Any dips, scoop up more. We will come back to this comment in 10 years and see how you are doing, asking if it is overvalued ok? Keep stacking..you will be rewarded.
Tom I am a bigger success story than this guy, though I had more money at my disposal. I invested very heavy in palantir (now at 10,000 shares and a gain of $500,000) plus Nvidia ($70k gain in 1 year). I followed your strategy of DCA, double down and kept adding PLTR over last 4 years (started at $27 and then my last add was 2 months ago at $62). You are the only TH-camr I listen to now as everyone else made me lose over $200k in 2021 (Lucid being the worst of them all)
Tom I can attest for myself that in the past 4 years I have invested into Tesla and Palantir around $70K by DCAing weekly and that has now turned into over $200K. Perhaps not the extraordinary returns others have experienced but the fact that I was pretty much broke and now sitting on all this money. Also in the meantime I started my own business and I'm doing quite well. This journey would not have been possible had I not been consistent. There were times I was barely able to make ends meet but I never stopped investing. I was adamant about investing. Thanks for everything Tom - you were a great inspiration during the rough times.
One of the best videos I've watched this year, thank you. This should be shown in every school, teaching children about the power of compound interest.
Would love to see some new stock picks. Sure palantir, tesla and sp500 are great picks, but won't make anyone rich getting in stocks at these prices anymore. You have been about palantir and tesla for years, and I salute you for that. But would love something new right now.
Ask me if i regret selling 50 Tesla shares at 268$ because I was 100% up. It was a lifetime lesson. I'm 100% up on Palantir and not about to sell. Thank you for your work!!

Palantirs current p/e is around 400. Just an example: During the past 13 years, the highest PE Ratio (TTM) of Salesforce was 951.33. The lowest was 41.72. And the median was 138.73. Just writing this cuz a high p/e does not mean one should sell the stock.
Hi Tom! Love your content! Is there any 101 material on Patreon so we learn how to analyze companies? I have no problem in paying for MVP, but I dont know what to make of the data it shows me!
I love your portfolio choices and your modified DCA methodology. I'm curious, though, about what you do when your planned proportions get out of alignment? If, one year ago, I had 40% in the S&P 500, 40% in PLTR, and 20% in TSLA, today, I have 23% in the S&P, 15.6% in TSLA, and 61% in PLTR. Would your plan now include selling PLTR, and rebalancing to the original proportions? Or do you let your winners ride, to coin a phrase?
AMD - what is your estimation for 2025 ? New AI processors, gaming industry after Intel collapse, maybe new Playstation consoles. I'm thinking about AMD vs TSLA, PALANTIR because I feel like there is bigger opportunity with AMD.
I love buying when the markets are going down. I put the same amount of money in my account every week and invest 20% of that no matter what. The other 80% I put into TFLO until my favorite stocks are 20% under their 52 week lows. That way my money is still making about 4% while I'm waiting to buy.
Regarding the S&P500 - what are your thoughts on leveraged S&P500 ETF's like SPXL (3X leveraged)? I get they are more volatile, but looking at long term charts, seems like you get the same type of results, except leveraged up.
I started to invest in 2019, and totally invested about 154.000, today worth 405.000, more than half of that is Tesla in which I started to invest early 2019, a small portion in Palantir, Nvidia, Bitcoin and a few other assets... DCA works! Be patient (buy hold and do NOTHING) works!
Hey Tom, is there any advantage in increasing or decreasing the frequency of your investment i.e buying every week instead if everyday. If so what's optimal rate of investment?
Do you still think pltr will correct near term? Not showing any signs of slowing up, what if it just marches relentlessly up to your $500 target over the next year
Great video Tom. Most people can't wait. That's why others make money. We need them people who buy and can't hold. Lots of people 'feel' they can't wait 4 years. The ones that can hold do win (if the company is good). Short answer...Dog eat dog world...

Robinhood
Many brokers like ibkr allow you to automate your investments. Like buy 300 dollars worth of pltr every month etc etc
My portfolio is mostly in S&P 500 index funds. How should I re-allocate it so to have 40% of index fund and 60% of individual stocks from now on ?
