This is a freaking scam. Them selling 20 for 499 gems is a complete scam.
In my calculations (Yes, you may call me a nerd but let me say this), a mega box costs 80 judging by their previous cost. So in theory if I divide 499 by 20 boxes, it means that if you bought that offer, each Mega Box cost 24.95/25 gems. So it's not much of a scam, yes it cost a lot but it's not that bad plus it's mainly spenders who buy those (although buying 5 for 199 gems is not ideal)

I think supercell should let us be mad about this one boyz, bc it’s not really as titillating and exciting as we thought it’d be to have them back. They just hand out the same things starr drops do minus the sprays but more. So atleast I'm not made about only getting a player icon and I atleast can be happy with some free gems and you know how Rey always says it. Free is always good.

I honestly like the rewards of the megaboxes. I think the reason many people many people think that the rewards are underwhelming is because of the cosmetics. Because the og megaboxes didn't have cosmetics and only gave progression. But now, much of this progression went to bling and other cosmetics, but I think this is a great thing for people who like cosmetics. I remember in the old days it was so hard to get a good skin, I almost could never get enough gems to buy one. Now it's much easier, and it's basically free. People just like to complain too much 😑

Apparently cosmetics that come with a skin counts as a separate item, so the boxes are even emptier than they seem, on top of the miniscule rewards unless you're super ultra mega lucky.
They tried to make it as best as possible since it’s hard to fit the classic brawl cosmetics within a mega box that already has a lot in it. It’s lackluster in many ways. But that’s just how it is, supercell removed them now they have to deal with the classic brawl cosmetics😂😂

Obviously the boxes were nerfed. Back in the day each brawler needed separate power point hence why mega boxes gave more power point and now that doesn’t exist hence why less power point. Millions of people are getting this free mega boxes if they were the same as before then it will crash the game probably.

not true, there is no reason why they cant combine the individual power points (average 30 received from brawlers into 120 total power points from one "roll" in the box.
now you need a lucky roll to even get over 100 power points.
this also doesn't explain why you get no coins from these boxes, as the coin economy/spending hasn't changed like power points have. we should still be getting 200+ coins from each box without relying on a lucky roll.
they also snuck bling and credits in there to make it seem like you are getting more progression-based items than you actually are

According to my calculations if the classic tokens that we can get will be the same as the ones from day 1 and 2 of the event (including the free megabox) you can only get 9 bolesne (if the number of tokens won't change) so you have to buy one if you want the Rico skin.
I like the brawl boxes, but it's the fact that they take SO LONG to obtain without buying them. every 3 days you can get ONE megabox if you dont include quests, and the quests are boring (play again 2, 4, 6, 8 times)

i think it should be like coins, power points, and pin/skin/icon if someone have all profile icons/skins/pins that are in megaboxes only then it's just bling and XP doubler if you have all skins that are in catalog no XP doubler and at end there is chance of brawler, starr power, gadget (like in old 6 is brawler 5 is rewands)
My first mega box gave me a skin and 500 credits, and the box I opened on my only mini account had ten rewards, so I am getting pretty lucky with this event 😅

This is true. It’s just another event to make the players happy, and instead of thinking about how they’ve opened two boxes and might get more lucky, they just blame the devs for giving them free stuff.
I disagree, ten boxes is a lot, due to the fact that there is a high chance you will get something good in one of them. Not only this, but you get a very cool skin from the event for free as well. While I understand that the boxes take a while to grind for, and I am a bit biased due to me getting very lucky with the boxes, I still think that it will be quite a lot of rewards overall. (Side note, you can save the boxes all at once which can be more exciting).

Before the event launch i had high hope that I'll be able to get Cordelius and/or Draco or any other legendary because content creators made a video where they create a new character and how much megabox to max out the account. Yes it is in the thousands but since i have all rare and epic heroes, more than half mythics, and most of legendaries, i had high hopes but now, even though i got squek on the free mega box, i dont thing i'll be able to get legendary at all.
I really wish every og brawler got their old player icons for the event, this is yet another injustice for barley mains...

Mostly I agree, but I think the main issue I see is the reward megaboxes give. Back in the day megaboxes gave like 500-1000 coins each practically everytime and now like 100-200 if you're lucky.
And I think with the brawl talk it seamed way faster pace with the amount of boxes you get. I thought you would get like a box in like 1-2 days, but you get 4 tokens a day so you get 1 box every 3 days if you play everyday. And that's really slow in my opinion.
But I've opened like 7 boxes already and I've gotten nothing exciting, my luck is probably terrible but still.

Why are people mad? They didn't remove anything and are giving us free cosmetics and free progression (apart from the shop offers, but no one is forcing you to buy those). They could have just not done this event but they have and we should be a bit more grateful.

Mega boxes are so bad that they might actually have made a majority of the players in my region quit the game
Usually it would take a frew sec for matchmaking but now sometimes it could take a few minutes
in every mode or just certain modes?
I’ve been getting some pretty good luck with my boxes. In total I opened 3 so far, 2 on my main and 1 on my alt. My first box sucked but the other 2 were not bad. I got a 8 on my alt getting a colt skin, player icon for penny and 2 brawl box pins and on my main I got berry free.
6:01 you also have the megabox challenge which will give you 15 tokens i'm pretty sure so you will have enough for 10 boxes
Interesting fact is that you need 12 tokens for 1 Megabox and max you can tokens you can get in one day is 5 so you need about 3 days for the first Megabox and 2 days for your second one😢
this would actually be good if it was permanent even with those drop rates, it would be like a extra free cosmetics and some resources
You can get 6.66 mega boxes from the tokens from playing a few games every day and then you only need 2.3 because of the free one in the shop and the tournament will probably get 2.3 mega boxes unless you just stink
I got 13 of the tokens needed to get a Mega box in 2 days (5 from quests, 8 from events), the event lasts for 20 days, you can literally just get 10 in the time the event ends.
The Rico skin is basically guaranteed.

Heyyy Nubbz, there is one thing I want to. I hope every maxed out account players know this. If you have maxed account and when you open a Mega Box you'll get like 400-600 coins which is way more than new Mega boxes and STAR DROPS and it contains way more value considering when you want to max out upcoming brawler. And same goes of Big Boxes as well you'll get more than additional coins if you have max out account. This make up Boxes more better than Star drops.
Fun fact nubbz but did u know u had a chance of pulling 100 gems instead of the 1k bling like out of that specific droprate 1k bling was the worst possible thing u could get
Only two days into the event & people are already saying it's impossible to get 10 boxes F2P. Did they forget we're also getting a bunch of quests to get more tokens?
