There a lot of headcanons about that because sensei didn't give us any explanation. Once I read that in Dazai's Entrance Exam novel, he explains that a girl blew smth up for him (to confess her undying love or loyalty for Dazai) smth like that I don't remember all of it. A lot of ppl started to think that Dazai blew Chuuya's car to give the same meaning or smth similar. Bcs I haven't read the novel yet Idk how true it is.
