I am a teacher. I teach like this with more explanations whenever needed. Anyway, some students are not "100%" present. They are bodily in the classroom but daydreaming, or talking, etc. They Do Not Learn and complin " I don't understand You" . Learning something needs full attention, otherwise forget learning. Not taking responsibility for our learning, and expecting the teacher "Inject" the material in our heads is prevailing culture. So, you learn this lesson because you want to and you do not "Multi Tasking".

I really have to say, this video really helped me,I wasn't able to understand the examples in my text book, then I decided to check on TH-cam for an explanation, I really understood this video, I was even able to complete practice Activities based on Quadratic equations.
I already knew how to do it with the quadratic formula, but my teacher told me it could come in handy to also know how to do it by factoring. So tysm, this was a very concise explanation.

Honestly, whenver we go over something new in class and i havent a fucking clue how to do it, i just whatch these and everything just becomes so clear, youre doing gods work man
I’ll try to explain this as well as I can cuz it just took me a good 45 minutes to fully know what I was doing so let’s say you have the equation y=x^2+2x-3 what you would do is find 2 numbers that add up to 2 and can be times to -3 which h would be -1 and 3 . So then you have to figure what x^2 squared root is which is x cuz x times x is x^2 so now you put all that together to make (x+3)(x-1) by doing this if you distribute the (x+3) to the (x-1) it fits perfectly with the original equation I gave So then after that you take the (x+3) and change it to x+3=0 and the same with the other part so it becomes x+3=0 and x-1=0 so the solution would be -3 for x+3=0 and 1 for x-1=0 and that’s it ! Hope that helped !

Thank god I found this video! It finally helped me learn this properly. What happened was during virtual learning last year, (which was already bad enough for me due to the substitute teachers being inexperienced in teaching). what i can say that this guy is the only man who saved me in math
I’ll try to explain this as well as I can cuz it just took me a good 45 minutes to fully know what I was doing so let’s say you have the equation y=x^2+2x-3 what you would do is find 2 numbers that add up to 2 and can be times to -3 which h would be -1 and 3 . So then you have to figure what x^2 squared root is which is x cuz x times x is x^2 so now you put all that together to make (x+3)(x-1) by doing this if you distribute the (x+3) to the (x-1) it fits perfectly with the original equation I gave So then after that you take the (x+3) and change it to x+3=0 and the same with the other part so it becomes x+3=0 and x-1=0 so the solution would be -3 for x+3=0 and 1 for x-1=0 and that’s it ! Hope that helped !

Thank god I found this video! It finally helped me learn this properly. What happened was during virtual learning last year, (which was already bad enough for me due to the substitute teachers being inexperienced in teaching). Now after watching this I can finally say, me being in double advanced math and taking Geometry; I FINALLY UNDERSTAND THIS! TYSM!
