Great video packed with information! This is a fish I was considering for my new 29 setup. You convinced me. You also have a nice speaking voice for presentation. Thank you!
Gorgeous! I want to get 2-3 as centerpiece fish in a volcanic-themed tank with lava rock, green veg. with rummynose rasboras & tetras, a few tuxedo & red mosaic guppies, volcano rabbit snails, Venezuelan cories & some black rose shrimp.
I got two males and three females two weeks ago but two of the females died within days and that store only has a 48 hrs policy so that sucks at 15.00 a pop. But otherwise they're still living. I'm going to hold off on getting more for a bit lol. They are beautiful and I finally seen the males display today!
WOW they are beautiful. I've never seem them for sale. I'm guessing you need to keep them in a very warm tank because of the rams. All your videos are great and I like your tanks and the simple way you set them up.
Nice video but I have two huge disclaimers about the fish themselves. First, it is not guaranteed at all that the fish will flare their fins in your aquarium, and that includes with a school of them. Second, aesthetically, the male fish can look very different from each other. The ones in the video are much prettier and more colorful than what I usually see at fish shops. So be discerning.
I think they would be amazing with my rams, but too small to keep with my killies? I am not sure :/ it's hard when you only see them tiny on a phone or giant on a tv, lol.

I bought five today
Damn... They jump! :( I don't have lead

Are they compatible with red gouramis
No , I would not put them with red gouramis.
Where do you purchase these guys from? They’re beautiful!
From a fish shop
Should they be kept in a school or what ratio like all males or 50:50 males and females ?
It's best to keep one male to two females when possible.
Must be very stressful for the guppies when they give birth with all those cichlids in there. The fry will only last seconds!
