    Red reduces the glare produced, as red light has higher wavelength, that reduces the visual acuity. So, to filter red color to an extent, Red goggles are suggested to be worn.

      Good try. The correct answer is - Light wavelengths at the red end of the spectrum stimulate the rods only to a slight degree, while allowing the cones to function reasonably well. Therefore, a person wearing red glasses can easily adapted to the dark.
