This has to be my favorite gag weapon in all of Elden Ring. Such a beautifully crafted sculpture, and not that terrible in combat either. Thank you for giving it some screentime, dude!
@@ChaseTheBroIt looks like a joke weapon a la the Fingerflicker, but it plays like a claymore with added utility. Definitely a blast! Beating people up with a stiff lizard never gets old.
@@spiraljumper74 This DLC powercreeped many weapons, the lizard is just a direct claymore upgrade. Higher damage, longer reach and busted R2 which doubles as a ranged punish. Only thing you sacrifice is fashion and the crouch-poke.
The lizard greatsword is also pretty strong on a bleed setup too. I actually tried it out myself using the exact same stormcaller+R2 game plan lmao. Definitely one of the most underrated dlc weapons imo.
The forbidden flame has made its appearance. Frenzy is like a sickness, spreading from one host to another. Now that chase has come into contact, it is only a matter of time before he himself partakes in the forbidden flame. We patiently await thee, oh bro.
This lizard used 22* hefty pots to claim victory throughout these invasions, what a generous reptile! (I can't tell what this was at 16:40 , it might have been a hefty pot, but I'm not confident. If it was, then 24 is the total number of hefty pots thrown this video, otherwise it's 23!)
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) this weapon doesn't seem to work with the arrows sting/reach talismans, but the spear talisman can actually put in some work here since the projectile and thrust are pierce. Hitting at the perfect spot with both the thrust and projectile (which can headshot by the way) does silly damage. I still find it hilarious that this is a better mid/close range crossbow than most crossbows due to the scaling and infusions. Also interesting fact, this is a "strike/thrust" damage greatsword, making it pretty unique in the stack.
Chase is the most Canadian Canadian to ever do it. Just the most friendly, good-natured guy youve ever seen, traveling the Lands Between committing literal war crimes and never being brought to justice
It's amazing how all you had to do was mention the follower's sabre, a weapon I haven't even thought about in years, and I immediately frown in recollection 😂

Genuinely one of my favorite weapons to use. Fun moveset, infusable, good dex scaling, and the concept is hilarious.
