Beautiful. Thanks for the very nice video series! I am from Sydney/NSW. I had a new red and white H model and I ran Metzler Comp K's on it requiring 3,000 - 3,500km tyre changes/servicing. Flagship Honda and Kawi's were my only transport for ~30 years, and like the CB1100FD, GPZ1100B2, CBR11OOXX amongst others, the CBR1000FH served me very well. It was a somewhat raw and particularly satisfying performer in regards to power delivery, but a happy wet weather performer (it rained the whole time I owned it). I wore the H out within 18 months and bought a new L model, I think more like the one's here, mine in red/black... I wore the L model out in about a year. The L was more refined and linier in power delivery, however, it's air induction noise is still the best thing I have ever heard, and Honda sold me panniers which were a great business for travelling outside Sydney and including for attending camping Rally's. The CBR1000FH and L models were the worlds best production vehicles (nothing could touch them), bur with any Honda or Kawasaki Flagship bike that goes without saying,. I reckon the current Kawasaki H2 sports-tourer model would be my transport if bikes were still my requirement. I hope these comments are not out of place here! Cheers.
The CBR1000F is a great machine. I had a 1995 one from 2000-2006. I wish I had kept it, but I am buying another one in 2021. Comfortable, durable, bulletproof engines, reliable and over 125 horse power. I had a Blue Flame end can on mine it sounded magnificent!
I've honda cbr1000f '91 in SC24 chassis with 6000 miles in excellent museum condition, even chain sprockets was original. Of course, i buy new tyres. He was get 265 kmh with passenger and topbox, i was dry in rain. This bike is fast and endurance, unfortunatelly i got destroy him in road accident near Astrakhan, but it onelove. He walked from Moscow to North Caucas, steppens of Kalmykya on 45 celsium on full throttle whole day, stops just for refuelling every 200 km. Ultimate machine, wonder of japanesse enginering.

Bought a brand new 1987 Honda CBR1000F Hurricane with the rare Monza Red/Black paint scheme. Baddest bike in my neighborhood for a couple of years.
So did I Neil. Mine was the red and white stripey thing. Went on to have 3 more and 2 Blackbirds. Then got old! Would love to relive those years.
@@chrispritchard4676 How old? I have 3 of these and a blackbird, I am 70.
I still go up to Scotland for tours, great fun.
