This is truly a beautiful project. Few people appreciates brutalism but I hope in time people will realize the beauty of this one. Its having the right tool, the right concept and of course, with the help of our professional architects and designers.
Stayed here for couple of days and the architectural aspect is amazing!!!! Will definitely go back here. Everything was very well thought of even the plates and bowls!
I’m an aspiring architect and I think this concept is really really nice. It blended nicely with surroundings/environment. It’s like an abandoned building that was taken back by nature and just like what he said, “making it as if it’s a living rock,”. Kudos!!!🎉
A true Brutalist interior embraces minimalism and functionality, highlighting the raw materials and structural integrity of the space while avoiding unnecessary clutter and ornate furnishings. A quote from Tadao Ando that fits on this is "Less is more. The more you have, the more you need to keep clean." In short, while you might label it as Brutalism from your perspective, other professionals might view it as a superficial interpretation that fails to meet the core principles of true Brutalist architecture.
If this is mine , I will drape the walls with vines 😅, to have the complete look of an abandoned place and more greenery on sorroundings .. I like this theme.. similarity of minimalist
This is exactly what i want to build at our beach property. Modern, industrial look but elegant most esp low maintenance. Since i live in the US full time.
I like the overall look but the tight angles around the tub at 6:15 must be a "joy" to clean. Highly respect the cleaners who will be maintaining this lovely space.
Very impressive young architect. Masterful work. Drew and Iya Arellano should have gotten him for their house design. I think this was the kind of design they had in mind.
I am not a big fan of brutalist architecture, but this one looks good. Specially in that environment. I specifically like the design of the bathroom, it gives of a post apocalyptic look, where nature has started to reclaim itself.
my first house would be brutal😅i mean semi brutal.. sobrang heavy kapag brutal na brutal lol.. like in the video gusto ko yung landscape na maraming plants or small trees sa paligid..para medyo medyo makabreath sa pagkabrutalism and i would add some light color woods to soften it.. i like also the combination ng metal sa architecture..and the rooftop.
Cement/Concrete begins to degrades from day-1. After 10 to 20 years cracks may appear. The degradation is minimised with proper long lasting wall paint. Sealing the roof is also recommended. The new concrete mixed with limestone that was perfected in Japan and Italy is a self-healing concrete. Research this for more info.
With Pinoys instinctively known as common designs, as well as the market's influential product availability, many will find this awful, out-of-touch and bizarre. I hope this generation and the ones that are coming will find this design with an open mind and willing to bank on its functionality, aesthetics and uniqueness.
cinematog, music, scene sequence --- derived from the THE LOCAL PROJECT channel building design --- vv nice, just looking for more uniqueness, like an "architect's touch" ar --- hes like me, a lot to improve in terms of describing and extracting the exact wordings overall... 7.9/10 ps. havent visited the casa yet, looking forward tho. also, wanna meet the ar. ---- hoping for that to happen subscribed btw. nc channel. rooting for it to boom
The interior is interesting, but the exterior is cold. I'm also wondering how cool the building will be during the summer considering the lack of windows overhang and I don't see all the windows under a cantilever. If this is the kind of building the clients want to live, then it is "good design" and kudos to them.
Ang ganda ng bahay pati mga furnitures, hindi ko lng gusto ung kitchen counter table hindi maganda at ung super saktong bathtub kinulang sa space. Pero overall ang ganda ng bahay.
brutalist means it needs to be hulking and dark kasi it evokes uneasy feelings, this is too small and light in color to be brutalist. perhaps they called it that since it has raw concrete walls but id argue its more industrial in design
Thanks for the feature Jar! And thanks for educating people about the relevance of good design.
How much does this cost? Thank you!
@@igorsrecordsMNL I am sure it would depend on the size.
i’m sooo lucky to have visited this amazing structure, really one of a million 👏
I love Brutalist designs, and I thought PH Architects doesnt offer this kind of design nowadays, and just saw this! Wow!!!! What a lovely house!
don’t offer not doesn’t. Subject -verb agreement.
@@schiatzeschiatze5002 whatever! 🙄
Because it's not ideal at all. Look at the design of NAIA compared to the other airports in China for example.
Ganda nga
Agreed
That’s structure is beautiful.
I’m amazed.
Great stuff as always! The house design and the way it was shot is great. Enjoyed his explanation
Thank you @dimitrisln!!

Great to see you here, Justin!
Love the contrast of this house against the typical homes.

True Definition of Art, Well Done Sir💎
To me, you are one of the best young architects in the Philippines!!!
That building looks so aesthetically pleasing.
Modern and I love it!!! Some people may not appreciate. But I do!!!
Absolutely not for everyone. Some love it some don’t. That’s ok!
The House is amazing. I like the funiture too.

Awww I didn't know the name of this concept design until now I saw this. I loved this!
This is really awesome house! It’s not an eyesore plus you get all necessary things with privacy! 🎉 great work!

Concrete is nice a smooth ..Congrats.
Ur channel remind me of Design Seed, everything is the same.. just that it’s in Philippines. Anyways, great architecture👍 Very raw, sturdy, and cozy.
What a huge compliment! Thank you!
Wonderful landscaping
“A living rock”. Love it!
beautiful and inspiring design!
Beautiful and Strong architecture ❤️👍 excellent job. Close to nature
asteeeg! looks like a battle station. Casa Borbon sound like Fine Vintage Whiskey... Love it!
This video is giving the local project vibes.
Absolutely love the cement color that you managed to have. Have you used white or black sand for the build? Amazing project. I'm blown away.
There’s a very playful vibe to this design, that’s what makes it cool, imho
A very masculine home!
lacking repetitive patterns to be fully brutalist, looks like a modern
Gandaaa not the typical designs seen today
Beautiful
Looks amazing!❤
Amazing design

It's all concrete and there are drains built in the floors. Hose everything down

Great design!
Really amazing.
Nice, unique
These houses from the philipines are just 🤯
Ganda talaga ng brutalist di nakakasawa tingnan
Beautiful ❤
Great very contemporary home design with modern amenities , never BRUTAL & incomparable to any German Bunker along Normandie France beach .
SO NICE
This is cool
Beautiful!
Ganda. Integrity of materials, minimal decor. Rain water harvest? Solar power?
Omg so beautiful house❤❤😮
Excellent
Nice. How did the cost compare to hollow block or Lite Block ?
Ang astig!!!
Ganda parang asa ussr ang theme
Gusto ko yan ganyan walang kulay
I lived in Tondo in the 90's this is beautiful to me since I grey up in a shack made our of plywood 😂
How do these structures stand up to typhoons and earthquakes?
It’s amazing how you did all that in 150 sq m.
I am not a big fan of brutalist architecture, but this one looks good. Specially in that environment.

damn, son!
Take an Aesop Store but make it a house?
It’s cool in theory, but it definitely hard to live in for everyday living.
There's just so much unrecognised talents here in the Philippines. Or atleast, not recognised enough.
Reminds me of Casa Aviv.
Where to find that bedside pending light at 4:10? anybody know?
Do a screenshot, crop the lights, and use Google Lens to search. That might help.

the design is nice, no doubt.. just wanna say you might wanna improve the narration on the vid.
Being different disturbs the senses of ordinary mindset.
Big structure offering just 3 beds. Beautiful Brutalist design but disappointed with the 3 bedrooms.

it's more of brutalism tho.... to way from industrial touch... 😆
@@zatoichi-e4r what do u mean? to way from industrial...?
The Entrance looks like Apartment Cemetery, but the total design so awesome and incredible unique
