    It is not true to say that those African countries that are governed by military regime are not democratically governed, they are more well governed more than so many Africa countries and this will continue to flourish if western countries allow them do so. This is why Western countries have decided to destabilise those military regimes because they stopped them from exploiting their mineral resources freely since the inception of military power, western nations do no longer have access to free exploitation of these resources in order to protect their interests. A particular African country among the three countries has survived 7 coup d’état attempts organised by some wester nations because their economies are collapsing

    A quarter of a century commitment to Democracy thanks to The Incomparable Covenant Child who laid this foundation after months behind bars and in the face of it all, on being released, vied for election and was elected as President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria by Nigerians from all corners, His Excellency Rtd. Gen. Matthew Olusegun Obasanjo. We must not also forget that while he served as The Military Leader of Nigeria, through the Aguda Panel, moved the Nigerian Capital from Lagos to Abuja.

    • @ojoakoko442
      @ojoakoko442 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can only praise Obasanjo for handing over to Shagari in the second republic, this very democracy you're talking bout today is as a result of June 12th annulment of MKO Abiola which resulted in protest especially from the south west. Obasanjo didn't do much in his 8yrs and there wasn't uncontrollably embezzlement either.And i remember vividly Babangida moved the FCT to Abuja not Obasanjo. Obasanjo developed Abuja of course that was his major focus during his tenure

    • @ojoakoko442

    I like his submissions on the emerging digital order, intellectual property rights, and crypto marketing. Nigeria should strive to be an equal partner in the drive of these emerging world orders.
    Yes, talk is cheap. We need conserted efforts to navigate a headway in the current globalization. The Vice President may have ably read out a well scripted stylish prose before the UN General Assembly, but the bottom line lies with the implementation of those words. A sharp contrast stands between today's Nigerian presentation at the General Assembly and the legendary Tafawa Balewa's episode. Balewa's was a genuine epitomization of Nigerian, indeed African, recrudescence in the world's equation. What Tinubu and Shetima of today represent is a roguish ideology and confused mindset.

    It’s laughable that Nigeria, a nation that fought a brutal war to keep Biafra within its borders as part of a questionable one-Nigeria agenda, now champions a separate state for Palestinian self-determination-while still criminalizing similar aspirations back home!
    What's even more troubling is that the individual representing Nigeria in this call for an end to domination was caught on tape discussing how the North and South West have colluded to oppress the Igbos simply for being who they are, despite enduring systemic marginalization.
    While Nigeria felt the need to make a statement at such events, one would hope for at least a semblance of consistency. It’s disheartening that a man accused of sponsoring Boko Haram was chosen to deliver such a hypocritical speech, further exposing the layers of irony in Nigeria's stance!
