- After living my entire life in Europe and the United States I reflect on the scary change of moving to Asia! What are the challenges of moving to Asia?, what are the positive parts? The location.that you are living is the version of Beverly Hills in the Phils . The fav res of Expats, Billionaires, Businessman, Celebrities, Politicians and Gov't officials a very exclusive village heavily guarded by CCTV's. You and Ave were destined to experience living there and we are enjoying watching you. Good decision to choose Phils as your base location/office while traveling around the world it's cheaper to hire Nanny and house helper here to assit you while raising your kids.👌❤
Are you renting this place? Or have you bought it? I’m thinking of retiring there.

Ava shld take care of your baby.Dont go anywhere or the baby will be stressed .It is better to stay in your house and go to your favorite grocery, fastfood chains and restaurants. S&R is famous as well as Waltermarts, SM Malls & Megamalls and Ayala Malls.Wherever you go for as long as you consider taking care of your Baby and the happiness you get is worth it

I’m so jealous with you Martin. I’m from Portland Oregon & I really think I will thrive better living in a warm environment. If I have to leave somewhere else, I would choose Philippines bc of the people, language, food & so many beautiful places to visit within the country. You’re so blessed🌼🌷🌸

It is truly amazing how open minded you are to change and embrace everything around you. I also live abroad and I miss my family and friends everyday. I do understand that for women during pregnancy is important to stay close to the family - I would do the same one day. But in General - how do you feel that you are not able to see your family and friends in Norway? I guess you also want them to be part of the baby’s coming period 😊
p.s Im visiting PH for first time next week. And I’ve got inspired by both of you to visit the country since Im following you ❤

When S&R first opened it was wholesale and you could only get a membership if you had a business that was needful of the store supply. In the beginning it was really cheap. Every time I arrived in Davao we would stop at S&R and stock up before heading home. However now it has become a retail store and the prices have increased. The quality is good unfortunately the prices aren't any more. We don't shop there now. SM supermarkets have better prices. I came to Asia in 1996, if you come here with the attitude of "but back home we have this" then you won't last long. Have an open mind, adapt to the culture, learn the language, integrate yourself into society then the Philippines will welcome and accept you with open arms. This is my home now and I wouldn't change it for the world.

have you gone to Evia just along Daang Hari (back of Ayala Alabang. I think you would love the coffee shop /library there, shops & the food strip at thr second flr.
Started to drink Bo's coffee when I watched it in your vlogs! Infairness, their iced coffee are good and also the one from 711 is so good! Now I always buy it when going to work 😭😭😭😭

Here in Spain no one drinks water off the tap. I'm the only one doing it but I boil the water first. Bottled water is a way of life here.
One thing I learned when touring with “Western” friends: you can eat anything (anywhere too) - but don’t drink the tap water. Bottled water all the way!
Hope ,forever kau. Ave seems have strong, and very independent personality. Not to mention she's way more older than martin. Shes ready to settle for her age, while martin looks like just beginning to enjoy life. Id be very surprised if they stick more than 10 years. Needs adjustment, like little submissive and not domeneering.

I agree. Philippines have a lot to offer but the child needs to be in an environment that will give her more opportunities (not saying there's nothing in Manila) to grow within an environment that is open to reason and not overwhelmingly about religion and celebrity culture.
