While I always enjoy Dorsey Armstrong's discussions on the Black Death, I wonder when the recent research by the French on Yersinia Pestis and the impact of body lice is going to come into the discussions on it. It was really eye opening.
That would be Humanity's - the possessive form of Humanity. "Humanities" are academic disciplines that study aspects of human society and culture. If you're going to do educational content, speeling matters.
@@5tarLightASMR I was certain when I deliberately misspelled spelling in my comment about spelling that everyone would recognize my obvious joke. Oh, well. Live and learn, I guess.
Pharaohs from 10,000 B.C.E.? The first pharaoh of Egypt, Narmer (AKA Menes), reigned starting from 3407 to 3346 B.C.E. Civilization didn't even begin there until around 6,000 B.C.E. This is easily accessible information. On top of that, this is not the only mistake I have seen in this video. In fact there were actually too many to mention. For an educational program, you should really get your facts straight. Maybe some double fact checking and editing before you release these kinds of videos? Very disappointed.
Ummm, did she say global cooling?? And then that tangent about not just universal healthcare, but universal income. I’ve yet to have a supporter answer one simple question. If everyone is being paid by the government, who’s providing the income? The closest I’ve gotten is the wealthy would pay for it. So not actually universal income, but just expanding the welfare system and thus widening the income gap further. Good plan. And yet another Wondrium video ruined by personal political opinions. How do these people not get that they just threw their credibility out the window?
Living with an incurable disease is so hard, but you just have to live life day by day as it goes by (Cancer sucks)...
The 1918 "Spanish" flu started outside an army base in Kansas.

BRAVO!!!!!
Easy to learn, not hard to follow. Reminds me of my middle school teaching!!
It's all propaganda. American cultural colonialism

I thought it was a discussion about problems in universities. Probably wouldn't have been as interesting.

There was another reason for epidemic mass killing of cats
You can loose the liberal pushing Universal Basic Income. If you let this stuff start you'll loose people. Go woke, go broke.
No expert on the matter, but to me it sounds like the video suffers from serious recency bias.
Half the video is about smallpox and plague???
Your name is so appropriate.
Humanities?
This sort of basic error has become all too common in the age of universal spell check.

I turned the video off when they called Spanish Flu xenophobic.

The universal basic income pitch at the end was a real turd in the punch bowl.
