The presenter of this DumDum video & the President of Pietta are very fluent in English. Maybe DumDum could go visit Uberti as well. Nice to see where my Pietta stainless steel 1858 Remington sheriff model was made. Very good video & thanx for having this here!!!
¡Avanti Pietta!
I love my Pietta 1851 Colt 44 replica and seeing the birthplace of it is awesome! I am concerned for this young Mr. Pietta as he looks about 40 but overworked, exhausted and lacking sleep. Take some time off Senor!! Relax!
Great video Darko, I watch all your reviews. After this video I did a search on their revolvers and was surprised at how reasonably priced these are here in the USA.
This is a fantastic company. I have a lot of experiance with their black powder revolvers. When they came on the scene we went from interesting replicas to actual general purpose field guns.
Thank you for keeping the American West alive. Every gun that I own is a pieta. They are precision machine. I would love to come to Italy to work with you guys
This Pietta guy seems like a real down to earth guy. I cried a little to learn they cast thier Single Action frames. There is only one company in the world that perfected cast frames Pinetree technology and Ruger owns it.
It came off confusing in this video..Pietta cast the frames for their cap & ball revolvers..the SAA frame is forged as you can see...Pietta ( and Uberti ) started using forgings for the Single Action back in 2007..and the Remington 1858 are also using a forged frame ( both Pietta and Uberti )
I just purchased my first Pietta It was before I watch this video after watching this video I would not hesitate to purchase another one and I’m looking forward to building a collection of Pietta replicas. Simply based on your factory in what you said in this video you have a customer for life from me I will also recommend the Pietta brand to anyone who’s interested. It’s rare to find a manufacturer who is so concerned about quality to the end customer remarkable and beautiful firearms!
the quality ends when we move to material department. Their steel is the worst, softest crap I've ever worked with. It's softer than a rebar made from construction grade steel....
E stvarno dobro ti ide engleski vamo u čikagu naki samo mumlaju nemožeš ih razumeti. Pogotovo ovi kordunaşi samo mešaju naprimer oni kažu "Garbić" a kaže se Garbage i tako sve. ❤❤
I bought a Pietta 1873 "Gunfighter" model. Nickle plated, 4 and three quarter barrel. White polymer grips. Very beautiful. I get to pick it up Thursday. Will let you/y'all know how 'she' behaves gents. It was so beautiful I couldn't refuse to buy it. I hope it is a good one "out of the box."
You need to do more videos in English.. You could really do well. You make really entertaining videos.. It's just hard when you don't speak the language.
Thank you for this. I own 3 1858 Remington .44's a 5.5" and 2-8". Still want a steel 12", a target model and perhaps another 5.5" and a stock for the 12' and the target .
Great video, but I wonder if the guy making those final QC checks at 35:00 is the guy who sent my Cimarron Frontier out with poor timing and no cylinder lockup, hammer back or down, on four of six chambers. Brand new gun, had to go "back" to Cimarron under warranty. Took two months to get it back to me, but it was good to go upon return. Beautiful gun, I really enjoy it.
Yeah sub par quality, Pietta QC is crap, especially after Covid. I know some of the companies such as Taylor's, Dixie and Midway buy and sell some of the B Grade crap and if you don't complain it's a win for them! For the amount of money this BS cost, you can buy a fairly decent modern firearm that you can actually trust and defend your family with.

But why do they use worst steel possible for their black powder guns? Their steel is softer than rebar construction grade steel. I must say, this is an accomplishment in the worst possible way. I can't count how many screws I accidentally damaged by slightly slopping my screwdrivers. I've also once started to cut in my cylinder while trying to cut a protruding ball... with a cheapest chinese folder.
Why are you spamming the video chat with your negativity? You’ve said your exact point 3 times already and I’m not even through all the comments yet. Everyone who shoots these are familiar with how easily the screws can be damaged, but that is also true on the finest Browning shotgun as well. Do you use a proper gunsmith tip screwdriver? Or perhaps you are just clumsy? Sit down and STFU already.
Very Impressive operation, very happy with my 1873 Great Western II.
I've always liked Pietta - now I love them! Amazing factory, thanks for the tour

Svaka čast! Fantastičan video i nikad nebi pomislio da je to tako fantastično i kvalitetno oružje!
I am proud to say that I just got myself a new Pietta single action in 357/9mm. glad I went with Pietta! Buenissimo!

Well done Darko!
Odličan video. Nije mala stvar dobiti takav obilazak tvornice i to još ako sam dobro shvatio u društvu vlasnika. Svaka čast!
Making 19th century firearms using 21st century technology.
I love this stuff.
Loved the tour. Thank you

Thank you for a wonderful tour.
Great video Darko, I watch all your reviews. After this video I did a search on their revolvers and was surprised at how reasonably priced these are here in the USA.
They were reasonably priced because their steel is the worst junk I've ever worked with. It's softer than a fckin rebar.

This Pietta "guy" is Alessandro Pietta, also Know as Alchemista in SASS, an one of the boss of the factory....

Oh, please. CZ and Tanfoglio frames, just to give to examples, are cast as well. Do you think they didn't perfect the technology?
I’m buying a Pietta because of this video.
