Thanks for playing my map @geowizard. I think of this map as a really fun alternative as it offers a seasoned traveller the opportunity to succeed without having all the latest meta knowledge. Stoked how you used your personal experience to nail your guesses. And Rd1 was like a rollercoaster, man!
I think next time you play this map, it could be cool for you to click the pin to see the location in google maps and see what there was behind you after the round. I did it while i played and it was a nice addition.

I really love the adventures but I just wanted to point out that I honestly find the geodetective videos more fun. I really like the adventures since they’re like a series that i look forward to watching every week but I would love if perhaps you could combine the two in some way. I was thinking being dropped in the city where a picture was taken and you have to find your way there without using a map on your phone. Like I would love to see you run around Vienna trying to find a specific place
The Iceland one at the end - the famous place was "Dynjandi", which is a waterfall. However, on the map that just looks like the name of the river and doesn't jump out as marking anything famous. This is probably the cause of confusion at the end where he mixes up where he was and where he guessed he was - he didn't notice anything on the map marking something famous so he assumed he had guessed where the flag was, instead of where it said "GW". As an Icelander, I've known of Dynjandi all my life. I've never heard of any of the other waterfalls, probably since they dwarf in comparison to the 100 meter high Dynjandi.
I've been to Iceland in 2011, instantly recognized Dynjandi there... It was probably the trip that wrecked the tyres of our car (had to get new ones in Höfn ~a week later because they were done for), but the experience was just amazing. We didn't even plan to go there, but when we were about to leave Ísafjörður for our holiday home my mother suggested we take the scenic route back and stop at Dynjandi. So glad I didn't miss that. Then again, I loved the entire trip even though the weather was really bad for half of it. I hope I make it back over there soon *.*
I was literally watching this going "how funny would it be if he rolls a location I'm familiar with" and the second spot is a landmark I can see from my driveway.
I enjoyed this video a lot. It was nice to get a fresh take on OG content. It's also nice seeing you in much happier moods. Your hard work and commitment towards yourself has been lovely to see over time. Cheers Tom!

Hey Tom, Canadian here! If you're interested to know, the way we pronounce Newfoundland in most of Canada is noo-fnd-lnd, as quickly as you can possibly say it. New-FOUND-land isn't wrong per se, but sounds a bit quirky and awkward... or British 😂. People from Newfoundland are Newfoundlanders [noo-fnd-landers, again, as fast as possible], but usually called "Newfies," which is generally a harmless and endearing term but could be considered offensive or pejorative by some, depending on the context and audience. The term is fairly common in most of Canada, but "Newfies" are often the butt of the style of jokes you might make about Norfolkians, which is why it might be considered offensive. Love your content as always! Much love from Vancouver!
Nice job! I’m used to folks panning to the distinctive monument behind. Missed that bit of content, out of curiosity, and understand that’s not the game for you.
That final one, the famous waterfall is actually Dynjandi. You should do a follow up video where you go to all those places and actually show what they look like!
I was losing my mind when he clicked away from the Queen's Battery to Signal Hill, the Queen's Battery is my favourite place to sit in the summer and watch the birds and the ships!
The SECOND Signal Hill showed up I was screaming! I live in St. John's and go up quite often! Very familiar view of 'the Narrows', the inlet you were talking about 😊😊 And yes I know people with the last name Butt 😅
That first guess was amazing, knowing immediately it was Mt Rushmore, hearing you say it, and then just lose your head and not even look for it at all was nuts. To be fair, you couldn’t really see the mountains around there. Had you had some on the horizon, you wouldn’t have thought a park in a city like that.
Watching this as the second episode just went up, as someone from Zagreb I'm so proud you got the Croatia guess spot on :) Addition: your pronunciation also wasn't terrible, not quite there, but funny nonetheless
