  • I made a speech defending the Government's decision to allow students, academics and visiting speakers to take Universities to court if their freedom of speech is curtailed. It is vital that are young people are exposed to a whole range of view points, ideas and evidence so that they develop into robust, inquisitive and appropriately sceptical mature adults.

As always, first class presentation. Keep on doing what you’re doing, your work is very much appreciated by the silent majority. Thank you Miriam.

An important debate such as free speech in universities and the House attendance is sparse, where are the MPs ?

Absolutely required. However, I feel the conservative party are somewhat hypocritical given how they have cancelled Andrew Bridgen. Chilling.
Only a handful of mps in the commons for his speech on covid harms. No Labour mps at all!
