    I own this gun and a Perazzi M12 The steel is sourced from the same place and hey,! I shoot the same with the Yilditz no better that the M12 So the old saying; you pay your money you take your choice. Choose the Yildiitz. Its bloody lovely and well made and not for the money!! Its well made ...period!

    Another informative review Matt, these higher end Yildiz sure look the business. The one thing i didn't like was the forend, looked a bit skinny with the silly tulip tip (never have grasped what that's all about) but i guess it could be swapped for a semi beavertail?
    I like how you mention the comb height in actual dimensions and not just say "This is too low/high" like certain other channel reviewers do (you know who you are).
    Keep these great videos coming mate.

    Does this come in a single barrel trap?

  • @martinhambleton5076
    @martinhambleton5076 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    It's definitely not a Perazzi? It's nothing like a Perazzi?
    So here it is. It looks just like a Perazzi?
    Perazzi barrels 4140 steel.
    Yildiz barrels 4140 steel.
    Both have the Boss action.
    The Yildiz does not have a detachable trigger group, or leaf spring, but standard coil spring.
    I have a Perazzi MX8 sc3 Trap. My son has the Yildiz Pro Trap. The barrels and forend fully interchange with each other.
    Quite frankly, I would say 100% that Yildiz has to be the best range and value guns on the market currently.
    I shot the Yildiz Pro in 20 bore mostly throughout last years game season and loved it.
    I had just better say that all I have said about Yildiz is just my opinions, and without payment or favour.
    Very impressive.

    • @MR12GAUGE
      @MR12GAUGE 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its an mx12 copy so it is near on identical to an mx12, the only difference between the guns are the perazzi is better finished, better shaped wood, better finished wood and better finish on the steel, is that worth 6x the price- no

    • @martinhambleton5076
      @martinhambleton5076 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MR12GAUGE The finish on the steel, and the tolerances are, I have to say, every bit as good as the Perazzi!
      The furniture is a good grade 4, but has not had the time spent on it. I am going to let someone have a go at the wood, as I am sure you would end up with a good London finish.
      They are truly great guns!
      Some of my friends who are also Perazzi owners have had a go with it. They usually hand it back with a stare followed by a head scratch.
      Don't get me wrong, I love my Perazzi but the Yildiz is every shooters dream for the money.

      @@martinhambleton5076 100% agree, i'm not a fan of the cheap turk guns and i am a miroku shooter but know and appreciate quality when i see it, they have done an exceptional job, people get caught up thinking perazzi own some secret ingredient- the boss action has been copied plenty of times but the pro is an excellent off the shelf mx12 double, oh i meant steel finish as in barrel polishing , the actual tolerances are every bit as good, i am yet to hear kf a pro having an issue, that says a hell of a lot

  • @the45er

    I'm amazed how often reviews of this gun start out with a comment "if you think this is like a Perazzi, it's not". I have a Perazzi MX-8. I look at this Yildiz. OK, starting with the stock - it's nice wood. Perazzi uses wood for the stock too. The Yildiz stocks on average are nicer wood. Let's look at the receiver. Let me tell you, you would NOT be able to distinguish between the Yildiz receiver and mine from more than 5 feet away. OK, what's different? Does Yildiz use crappy steel where Perazzi doesn't? I doubt it. Ahhhh the barrels. Well, Yildiz claims that their barrels will work in a Perazzi. It that's true even with a bit of fitting required, that pretty much says that these actions (BOSS) are identical. As for the barrels themselves, where can Perazzi or Yildiz makes claims for differences? How are the Perazzi barrels THAT MUCH better. They look alike and as long as the Yildiz barrels are well regulated, what the heck is that different? Someone needs to get into the real details and truly differentiate between a $6000 Yildiz and a $16,000 Perazzi. I sure haven't seen it done.

      @MR12GAUGE 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Differences are- silver soldered oven brazed barrels on yildiz vs soft soldered perazzi.
      Hard chrome lined internal bores vs polished steel.
      Rear reciever stay on yildiz is flat, perazzi is rounded for some reason (creates wood creep)
      Yildiz locking block is flat bottom/ conical top, perazzi is flat all round- i would argue the yildiz is a stronger mass.
      Outside of that same steels, same machines doing the cutting, same tolerances, the yilidz action is better finished easily, the external finish perazzi finds another gear as expected. Identical to an mx12 besides small improvements
      Other than that

    Which yildiz has the ported barrels?

  • @Incountry
    @Incountry 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I think it’s all taken out of context as saying it’s direct comparison or the same…
    The testing was based on quality feel, the sound of closing the gun, tightness of its parts, how it feels on the trigger and how it’s shoots, the accuracy and reduced recoil.. You could compare this to even more expensive guns as it fits all everyone.
    All Guns are hand made, finished and assembled…. (Require hand deburing of metallic parts, woods are hand sanded with and without machines)
    It’s brand snobbery, Turkey manufacturers the majority of European vehicles manufacturers, FORD, PSA, GM, FIAT, RENAULT and VAG..!
    Japan made all of Brownings Guns at one time, so what’s the difference….

  • @albuquerque412
    @albuquerque412 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    The biggest difference is that a perazzi guarantee is for 3 years and the yildiz has a 5 years guarantee. There are more perazzis being fixed for problems than there are in circulation. Most of the walnut comes.from turkey anyway. So please explain to me why a Perazzi is better and cost 10 times more ? Nothing but paying for the brand name , nothing more , nothing less

    • @MR12GAUGE
      @MR12GAUGE 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I've got a pro, and the difference is in external finishing hours- as expected, if yildiz put another 1000 on it and finished it barrel polishing and wood shape/oiling to a higher standard there would be zero difference

      @@MR12GAUGE Absolutely nothing wrong with having a perazzi at all what makes me laugh though is perazzi owners and dealers trying to convince everyone else they are something special compared to other makes.
