He's talking about his career and all what he rapped about, which is everything, he didn't leave a subject, politics, religion, youth dilemmas, wars...etc he's intellectual and smart, he's just saying that he did the real Rap that had messages and positive influence on people not like today's most rap. At the end he said I wasn't actually rapping but educating! He's a legend ❤

    Full song translation:
I've always rapped with heart, from local(Algerian) arab origins,
since ever my lyrics are bulletproof
built with bodybuilding dumble, from the times of 2Pac, B.I.G & lil'
kim, the times of Blade & Kill bill,
rapped on Obama, Bush & Kennedy, Al burda, Al mutanabi and so
on Al kindi (ancient arab poets & philosophers)
I rapped and my words were measured before Spotify & Deezer
(existance), rip my veins and you'll find DZ ( reference to Algeria)
flexing with Vin Diesel biceps. I rapped on Science & Conscience,
on diesel & gasoline car engines, on human creation and childbirth,
major powers wolrdwide conflicts, rapped on peace & war, little kids
& atoms, for a long journey on Palestine from Balfour declaration
with England (U.K), i rapped on this ungrateful life, the happy &
the desperate youth, the people that stole the country and the
corrupted ones whom made tons of money illegaly, i talked about
science and its ideas, i even talked about Turkey (the country) and
Ankara, i talked about the muslim prayer and its graces, and about
    the prostitution and its dens.
And yeah, i made rap on Nazi, rap on NASA, rap on Al razi, rap on
GAZA, Rap " Classic", unbreakable rap, classified (Notorious) rap
from Kasserine (Tunisia) to Casa (Casablanca, Morocco). Rap that i
fought with, similar to hepatitis antibodies, changed the vanities
whether of Malikis or lbadhis (Muslim religeous denominations), i
rapped on so many pages, with slang or native language, my words
were of harndess and wisdom for the youth of this generation wake
up and rise. I rapped on Ramadan (muslim fasting) and Eid el Adha
(religeous celebration) [discribing happy and joyful moments in
a specific cultural way that is hard to translate], past is past and
what's broken is broken, and whoever f#@k with me i make i cold
case outta him, just like Milan AC (notorious soccer club in milano,
Italy) i'm stonelike, with simple and basic words. yeah man i'm just
an MC with my name down the DGSI (investigation services) snipin
all those politicians and gov officials on stage it's like MOC VS CSC
(local algerian soccer teams on a derby match, just like L.A Lakers
vs Boston Celtics on NBA). I rapped on president el-sisi (egypt) and
Al-affasi, with all my strength against corrupted ones that want
to erase a genuine history from Yuba until Massinissa (ancient
numidian african warriors). It was a balanced rap, commited rap
never give in, never give up, solid rap, rap with a name Slimane
Azem (old algerian singer) , Sheikh Abu-Mazen (palenstine rebellic
leader). My rap is always creative, rap that differentiate between
creatures, differs Creatine from Keratine (biochemicals) and the
Carlytene from the Carnitine (meds), rap electic just like a taser,
always advice people to support each other, i keep going and if i
stop i feel like i'm having asthma, i feel stuck like a cell nucleus
without a Cytoplasm. rap with alif & hamza (arabic denominations
for the equivalant of letter A in english ) sometimes so calm you
don't hear a whisper, sometimes raging with an enthusiastic song
sometimes warlike with Hamza Swords (ancient muslim hero)
heavy rap, monster rap, mad rap defending the oppressed, the
preoccupied, the desperate, the knok-out and the devastated
My rap was always moving forward, with the same meaning
never changed, belonging to a devastated society i wanted to
construct not to destruct. Al-Hadith (sayings of the prophet of
islam Mohamed) is speading and the Coran is being recited, but
people on twitter nowadays are influenced only by Twerk. i talked
about soccer national team, about chimestry whether solid or
liquid, about moscow & pekin politics, about " tickets in bled
mickey" (refering to one of his old songs back in 2004 called Bled
Mickey). I talked about genesis bible, and coran's surah-attakwir,
about youth getting stoned daily just like Joker & Harley Quinn. on
stage my only weapon is this toungue, i've always defended humar
rights, just remind them in case they forgot, the day " the bandits
insulted islam, when all people kept their mouths shut who stood
up and backfired at Sellal??(former algerian prime minister)
I rapped and rap run through my veins like a desiease and from
the very beginning of my debuts im delivering at high rate, my
values are always about fighting lobbying the same way did obito
(OG naruto character) and Ubi one Kenobe (the jedi). i rapped and
in front of me was my eternal hope that i entend to write my pain,
my tiredess, my boring,my ambition, my faith and even with my
    enemies i wasn't an enemy.
I rapped all these things, and no matter how much i've mistaken i
don't regret it, whether i did good or bad cuz' that's human nature.
i rapped so fast until one day god made me realize that in fact i
wasn't just rapping but i was educating.

He had PhD in Geology but he is rapping as a hobby and as a way to critisize many things in Algeria and defend the people to take their rights from the governments... His first Rap concert was in 1997. He is the king of Rap in all the Arab countries and the African continent. He is the best ever. I really wish that you can understand his lyrics because his lyrics in his songs are from an other level or from an other world. Salam from Tunisia ^_^

Lotfi D.F. has always been the example of the cultivated Rapper who deals with serious subjects and raises awareness unlike those rappers whose majority of songs are about drugs, the police and prison...

yes, many consider him the King of Arab rap to this day, there are even rappers who recognize this publicly. You should know that we can divide the Arab world into two parts: the western part (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia etc.) and the eastern part (Egypt, Syria, Palestine etc.) the language and dialects of the western part are close and Similar, Lotif dominated Algerian Rap since his debut (I believe his first album was around the year 1994), and subsequently he gained more and more fans in the western part of the Arab world. For the eastern part, recently they began to understand our Algerian language and this is how he discovered Lotfi and everyone is fascinated by Lotfi's work and his great mastery of Rap techniques and the power of his texts. Lotfi is now 50 years old and he still raps like a young person, his mastery, his experience and his culture make it too difficult for newcomers to dethrone him, we also have Lotfi's courage to talk about sensitive political subjects, for example Lotfi cannot return to Algeria because he has always denounced Algerian politicians who are not there for the good of the country! Lotfi also offers powerful respectful lyrics but without insults, everyone can listen to him, which is not the case for other rappers who have vulgar language, because this detail of vulgarity in the language is important to us Muslim countries, (some of our young people speak in a vulgar way, of course, but generally speaking, people here retain certain values as well as respect, etc.)
      Good day.

Lotfi Double Kanon is the godfather of Algerian rap. Through his songs, he spoke up against tyranny and oppression in a time when speaking up meant death. During the 90's (the black decade), many singers and artists fled the country out of fear of murder and due to threats of assassination but he refused to leave Algerian soil.

And he did it for all the subjects : politics/Religions/Wars/Freedom/Science/Technology/immorality...he sung , before Spotify, Deezer and sure before internet.....etc and finish with the last sentence "In fact I didn't Rap but I educated people for the TRUTH. full song translation: credit to owner
I've always rapped with heart, from local(Algerian) arab origins, since ever my lyrics are bulletproof
built with bodybuilding dumble, from the times of 2Pac, B.I.G & lil' kim, the times of Blade & Kill bill,
i rapped on Obama, Bush & Kennedy, Al burda, Al mutanabi and so on Al kindi (ancient arab poets & philosophers)
I rapped and my words were measured before Spotify & Deezer (existance), rip my veins and you'll find DZ ( reference to Algeria) flexing with Vin Diesel biceps. I rapped on Science & Conscience, on diesel & gasoline car engines, on human creation and childbirth, major powers wolrdwide conflicts, rapped on peace & war, little kids & atoms, for a long journey on Palestine from Balfour declaration with England (U.K), i rapped on this ungrateful life, the happy & the desperate youth, the people that stole the country and the corrupted ones whom made tons of money illegaly, i talked about science and its ideas, i even talked about Turkey (the country) and Ankara, i talked about the muslim prayer and its graces, and about the prostitution and its dens.
And yeah, i made rap on Nazi, rap on NASA, rap on Al razi, rap on GAZA, Rap " Classic " , unbreakable rap, classified (Notorious) rap from Kasserine (Tunisia) to Casa (Casablanca, Morocco). Rap that i fought with, similar to hepatitis antibodies, changed the vanities whether of Malikis or Ibadhis (Muslim religeous denominations), i rapped on so many pages, with slang or native language, my words were of harndess and wisdom for the youth of this generation wake up and rise. I rapped on Ramadan (muslim fasting) and Eid el Adha (religeous celebration) [discribing happy and joyful moments in a specific cultural way that is hard to translate], past is past and what's broken is broken, and whoever f#@k with me i make i cold case outta him, just like Milan AC (notorious soccer club in milano, Italy) i'm stonelike, with simple and basic words. yeah man i'm just an MC with my name down the DGSI (investigation services) sniping all those politicians and gov officials on stage it's like MOC vs CSC (local algerian soccer teams on a derby match, just like L.A Lakers vs Boston Celtics on NBA). I rapped on president el-sisi (egypt) and Al-affasi, with all my strength against corrupted ones that want to erase a genuine history from Yuba until Massinissa (ancient numidian african warriors). It was a balanced rap, commited rap, never give in, never give up, solid rap, rap with a name Slimane Azem (old algerian singer) , Sheikh Abu-Mazen (palenstine's president). My rap is always creative, rap that differentiate between creatures, differs Creatine from Keratine (biochemicals) and the Carlytene from the Carnitine (meds), rap electic just like a taser, always advice people to support each other, i keep going and if i stop i feel like i'm having asthma, i feel stuck like a cell nucleus without a Cytoplasm. rap with alif & hamza (arabic denominations for the equivalant of letter A in english ) sometimes so calm you don't hear a whisper, sometimes raging with an enthusiastic song, sometimes warlike with Hamza Swords (ancient muslim hero), heavy rap, monster rap, mad rap defending the oppressed, the preoccupied, the desperate, the knok-out and the devastated.
My rap was always moving forward, with the same meaning never changed, belonging to a devastated society i wanted to construct not to destruct. Al-Hadith (sayings of the prophet of islam Mohamed) is speading and the Coran is being recited, but people on twitter nowadays are influenced only by Twerk. i talked about soccer national team, about chimestry whether solid or liquid, about moscow & pekin politics, about " tickets in bled mickey" (refering to one of his old songs back in 2004 called Bled Mickey). I talked about genesis bible, and coran's surah-attakwir, about youth getting stoned daily just like Joker & Harley Quinn. on stage my only weapon is this toungue, i've always defended human rights, just remind them in case they forgot, the day " the bandits " insulted islam, when all people kept their mouths shut who stood up and backfired at Sellal??(former algerian prime minister)
I rapped and rap run through my veins like a desiease and from the very beginning of my debuts im delivering at high rate, my values are always about fighting lobbying the same way did obito (OG naruto character) and Ubi one Kenobe (the jedi). i rapped and in front of me was my eternal hope that i entend to write my pain, my tiredess, my boring,my ambition, my faith and even with my enemies i wasn't an enemy.
I rapped all these things, and no matter how much i've mistaken i don't regret it, whether i did good or bad cuz' that's human nature. i rapped so fast until one day god made me realize that in fact i wasn't just rapping but i was educating.

Lotfi is the legend of Arab and African rap. It is not easy to understand his words due to his great speed. We also need to repeat them several times to understand many words. Also, it is not just random words. When you understand what he says, you find him talking about many social or political matters. This song in particular talks about his career. The artistry and the various topics that he touched upon, despite his long hiatus, Lotfi was still number 1, and many rappers could not approach even a little bit his level. 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿

Moreover, with a background as an engineer and a rich cultural understanding, his rap transcends the usual themes of "money, hoes, and self-glorification."
