Here's a tip - right before regirock uses ancient power, if you position yourself in front of the hallway he'll knock you all the way back to base and you'll basically get a free heal
I've sort of done this, but ultimately I usually only end up landing on the conveyor to speed up my return to the fight. Though, I also found out on day 1 that if you use a dash/eject button/etc *right* as the move hits, you can actually negate the shove and stay directly on top of him to never stop fighting.

I went through my battle log and there's some corrections: we actually went 3 eevees, elde, and slowbro. We got around 640 points and I was the elde. But the one I mentioned in the comment the Glaceon did 300k damage and it was our 2nd best run.
I won extreme boss rush with glaceon and did 240k damage My team had mime who did 179k damage,sylveon and espeon who did above 200k damage and a decidueye who did 14k damage 🤣

If you getting extreme times that are close to failing. Do intermediate then. Bad times on extreme are like 150-400 points Intermediate you can easily average 500 points (This is with 2 people only of same squad for the squad bonus points)
I find the best 5 pokemon for stunning the boss are Gardevoir Sableye Mr mime Dragonite (outrage) and Slowbro with Telekinesis These pokemon work like a Charm
I played extreme boss rush for about a whole day. And won. Let me tell you what I learnt: NOTE: pay attention to the stun bar at the top 1. You need to stun the boss: any flinching move/ fluffy tail will work (Ideal pick is Snorlax with heavy slam + yawn) 2. You need group healing (Ideal pick is Eldegoss with pollen puff + cotton spore for stun.......... unite move for low health allies) 3. You need a mew with electroball + coaching for the whole game (coach your friends and reset electroball) 4. You need 2 attackers/allrounders (Ideal pick is Zacian with sacred sword because it will stun also............... Espeon, Glaceon, Gardevoir, Garchomp, Dragonite and Scizor were also good in my team) While picking an attacker if you don't do more than 100k damage (see at battle stats after match) then you failed the job. So a good team composition is (according to me): 1. Snorlax (heavy slam + yawn) 2. Eldegoss (pollen puff + cotton spore) 3. Mew (electroball + coaching) 4. Zacian (sacred sword + agility) 5. any attacker/ allrounder which can deal 100-200k damage The team I won with was: (I got nice team in solo-q) Snorlax (70K dmg + 2k stun) + Eldegoss (101K dmg+1k stun) + Mew ( I was mew 188k dmg) + Garchomp (155k dmg) + Gardevoir (250k dmg) (edit: some people have suggested better strategies in the comments)
Personally completely disagree on *needing* Mew, as there are much better options for the slot they take up. Otherwise? Also entirely disagree Snorlax, given Slowbro is infinitely stronger as a defender due to being literally unkillable so long as they don't go entirely afk. Otherwise? Yeah, pretty good points.
In my experience cramorant is really good, with dive and hurricane you provide MASSIVE stun and dive also lets you dodge alot of attacks especially in regirock. I do around 170k every game with it (wise glasses, choice specs, slick spoon)
This years boss rush is chaotic the boss are also stronger and randoms using hoopa and mons which aren't supposed to be used in this mode and their seeing them use razor claw on espeon made me choke
I think some of this is because for the Zacian Adventure you get a free win even if you run out of time. Although if I do this I stay in the lower or lowest difficulty
The key to doing it is cc and heavy damage. Eldegoss is really good cause it heals a lot and ccs (Pollen puff/cotton spore) No need for defender. Run all arounders instead. Elde provides enough heals to keep them up. Garchomp shreds and provides cc Dragonite has loads of cc with outrage build Zacian is almost essential as it does high damage and cc with sacred sword/play rough For attackers you can go garde, espeon, or another cc oriented attacker. Cc is key. ALWAYS RUN FLUFFY TAIL. It provides more cc and has a short cd. You also do more damage to the boss.
The fastest I ever had is with gengar (hex), slowbro, glacion, garchomp, and espeon with a whopping 1 min and 22 seconds, gengar hex is seriously underrated in this mode.
Swear the closest I almost beat Extreme was when I was playing i civile Glaceon. My other teammates was dragonite, garchomp, eldegloss and venasaur, with only 1 bar and 1/4 left. I felt like if venasaur chose a more powerful mon for that game, we would of won
I got 280k on glaceon on 1 extreme mode. Later on i was consistently getting 150k only. I checked what made the difference and it was mime. Later i picked only mime and even with bad builds of teams it is getting close because mime stuns. Got 1:11 remaining time win with a good team. I recommend mime with fluffy tail and all other high damage dealers. But please no hoopa with hyperspace hole because most don't want to go back to base as the time is very less.
For competing extreme boss level pokemons in my recommendation 1.Espeon 2.Gleceon 3.Garchomp 4.Gardevoir 5.Zacian Extreme boss level will be finished in 3.50 minutes.
Well glaceon actually is good in this mode,150k damage is just normal, then Zacian, then garchomp, Espeon kind of. In extreme taking one healer like clefa or elde is amazing during that Zacian fight. Also, you can dodge zacian behemoth using shield of aegislash only if you time it well(around .6-.7secs), and it's just so satisfying taking almost no damage from that attack.
PSA regarding the timing to block Behemoth Blade, don't look for the attack, listen for it. When you hear Zacian move that's your cue to press the button provided your teammates dont Ult at the exact same time as the cue causing you to miss it -_- that darn talonflame...
So you get randoms that pick actually strong choices, meanwhile I get randoms who use leftovers, stacking items and do 40k with Ninetails/8k with Comfey? Your video is meant to help, but it only hurts. :(
I got a dragonite with triple glasses and the mtf did 165k damage i was testing using tytar and did 151k i really think that the items you see on allys can be wrong.

Which yes, I have seen over 10 people doing by now. Based off the way people play and the damage numbers *I* see? I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if the items were displaying correctly.
After *hours* of testing things out and internal pain inside (including a close defeat where we were just a few bit away, but I sadly got the shield at the end when I didn't want to do so), I *finally* got it with Glaceon! My teammates involved a Dragonite with healing, a Gardevoir with a speed boost, a Zacian with the tail whip thing like I ended up using, and a Decidueye with healing. I ended up dealing the most damage at 187,293 total (with me leading the damage dealt for both Regirock & Zacian), but everyone contributed to at least 142k damage dealt overall (with most doing at least 150k each outside of Dragonite), meaning no one was slouching or slacking off or anything like that, even with some admittedly stupid mistakes involved (somehow I managed to die almost immediately after getting revived by Regirock one time). Personally, I'm never touching the extreme version ever again now. EDIT: Also, my team won with 39 seconds left to spare, so that was pretty good, all things considered.
We've tried a bunch of strategies for the past 5 days, and with our past experience with the last season Boss Rush, you would want a full team of Sp. Atk mons. Yes, we did try stun strategy but the damage tradeoff isn't worth it. I think glaceon Espeon garchomp and irshifu has the highest damage healing and sun altogether tbh. Urshifu also has def reduction for garchomp to use and since almost everyone uses draincrown rapid fire heal garchomp I’ve seen it with the best damage output for melee. Urshifu has the best survivability with healing and shields and the defense drop is great for both attackers. Glaceon is purely a monster and Espeon has such a high stun rate with the spoon also she hits as hard as glaceon maybe higher cause of the consistent ability spam with a pure damage cooldown reduction build as I’ve seen.
Mr Mime change-force psychic is probably the best pokemon in the game mode. You can do a 180k damage at the end. Tank the boss and heal yourself a lot and decrease the defenses. And most importantly you can stun the boss a lot too. One of the best multi-task in the boss rush and really good in soloqueue. Espeon is really good too. I do a 280k with her one time and she had a strong stun. I mention the pokemons which did not appear but which remain very good
The problem with Boss Rush is you get a lot of people who lures boss into you or bosses that only focuses you making your game unplayable. I had games where boss was just spawn camping me (I get KO'd right when I just spawned back). And I also have the issue where no one in my squad shows interest in this game mode which is a shame
Why is dragonite slept on in this mode. Outrage not only crits it does crazy damage and you can continuously stay in outrage and and heal every hit. With potion you heal more. Plus you can use unite move fly back to base free heal
Dude, did you know, slowbro is also useful in Boss Rush like, when zacian is abt to use behemoth blade, slowbro can just unite him. Tsareena and Charizard’s unites don’t work
My team uses: cramorant, dragonite, espeon, eldegoss and zacian, we were able to finish with 1.20 mins left since all of the dps we use also provide lots of stuns, especially cramorant and espeon
probably ex-speed out rage Dragonite is the best pokemon in this mode, if team has Eldegoss then his ful potential will be unleashed: self recovery paired with eldegoss, stun contribute from outrage activate and melee atk with e-speed, high on-target damg, probably just behind attackers
I wonder if we could ever see these more advanced boss fights in other modes besides Boss Rush, like in the 3rd main map release for example. Glaceon was the first one I beat extreme on and it was the first try with them. Lots of other great suggestions in the video.
sadly not the best time for me. glaceon could deal more than 300k consistently if used correctly, garde just help to lower the sp. def while dealing good damage.
I got 265k dmg with dragonite using outrage, its stupid to use extreme speed, pick dragon dance and THAT'S when you get the real best mon for boss battle (only one fluffy tail and no def reduction mons)
if it's hard solo, what else will someone use a strange pokemon. If you are pushing poin but solo, I suggest normal mode then use long cc pokemon like yaun snorlax or mamoswine ice ivory
Since the bosses have boosted physical defense this rotation, I think a special focused team would be best. I'm thinking something like: -Sylveon to lower their spdef with Hyper Voice -Glaceon Wind + Shard of course for the big damage -Espeon for the Future Sight executes and lots of stun meter from Psyshock -Slowbro to omega tank as always -Gardevoir for damage with Psyshock and both spdef drops and stun meter with Psychic Either Sylv or Garde could probably be swapped out with Eldegoss if needed. Elde could give meter with basic attacks and Spore plus either move speed for dodging with Tornado or heals with Pollen

Cinderace using faint attack is quite good too being able to dodge quite a lot of attacks from regirock and zacian
4:57 This is why I love picking Slowbro. Back then in first Boss Rush, being crush gripped by Regigigas is pretty much a death sentence.
Our best time was won with Slowbro, Elde, Gard, Sylv, and Glaceon. Stacking all the sp.def reductions. Our Glaceon did more than 340k damage.

If you have a competent slowbro always drawing aggro you dont need a healer. I would say you failed if you didnt deal at LEAST 150k as dps

Correction. You take ZERO damage for a well-timed block.

Don't look for the attack, don't listen for it either. Look at the move timer above. You will survive if you activate the shield

You have to activate it with Y/your item button when the time is right, which is usually at around 0.5 seconds left on Behemoth Blade's countdown.

Wigglytuff is amazing in this game mode fluffy tail and sing gives insane stuns to the bosses
Using Garchomp dealing over 200k damages and I see garchomp is good for this mode basic attack heal himself
I played him every time until i did the extreme. 180k damage every time
I only did one time over 200k damages on extreme, make sure they don't attack you so you can peacefully dealing damage to them
Eldegos can help keep the team alive with Pollen Puff and Cotton Guard

My highest damage was with espeon: double glasses spoon + future sight psyshock.
I got as high as 270k and consistently over 230k.

The problem with Boss Rush is you get a lot of people who lures boss into you or bosses that only focuses you making your game unplayable. I had games where boss was just spawn camping me (I get KO'd right when I just spawned back). And I also have the issue where no one in my squad shows interest in this game mode which is a shame

In duo queue we did extreme with Garchomp, Slowbro, Dragonite, Glaceon & Espeon. Slowbro draws aggro and the other 4 hammer the boss
Isn't X Attack just better than fluffy tail though because of the extra attack speed too? That's just what I remember Overlord saying on stream.
Fluffy tail makes the stun happen more often so i don't really is better it matters on the mon tho

No. Fluffy tail is essential. It stuns filling the gauge, has lower cd, and allows you to do more damage to the boss.

Why is dragonite slept on in this mode.
Outrage not only crits it does crazy damage and you can continuously stay in outrage and and heal every hit. With potion you heal more. Plus you can use unite move fly back to base free heal
I recommend hex bomb Gengar, because the bosses can’t be put to sleep, but they can be inflicted by conditions, so it makes spamming a lot better
Have you tried espionage I think it's highest damage dealer I've had close to 300k dmg
Dude, did you know, slowbro is also useful in Boss Rush like, when zacian is abt to use behemoth blade, slowbro can just unite him. Tsareena and Charizard’s unites don’t work
Try mime with spoon and Power swap + psychic. Not only you become so tanky but also deal lots of sustained damage
If you hold the shield and click y right before zacian attacks it nullifies the dmg, but you must time it right

My team uses: cramorant, dragonite, espeon, eldegoss and zacian, we were able to finish with 1.20 mins left since all of the dps we use also provide lots of stuns, especially cramorant and espeon

probably ex-speed out rage Dragonite is the best pokemon in this mode, if team has Eldegoss then his ful potential will be unleashed: self recovery paired with eldegoss, stun contribute from outrage activate and melee atk with e-speed, high on-target damg, probably just behind attackers

I almost beat him in hard with Snorlax. Yawn is like a second Fluffy Tail. Block is technically useful against Ancient Power. But Yawn is better

Glaceon was the first one I beat extreme on and it was the first try with them. Lots of other great suggestions in the video.

fastest i finished was with 2 minutes left zacian glacion espeon eldegoss and dragonite
sadly not the best time for me. glaceon could deal more than 300k consistently if used correctly, garde just help to lower the sp. def while dealing good damage.
I got 265k dmg with dragonite using outrage, its stupid to use extreme speed, pick dragon dance and THAT'S when you get the real best mon for boss battle (only one fluffy tail and no def reduction mons)

if it's hard solo, what else will someone use a strange pokemon. If you are pushing poin but solo, I suggest normal mode then use long cc pokemon like yaun snorlax or mamoswine ice ivory
I often use snorlax dmg always mvp in normalI think it's faster than playing in extreme
What if we complete challenge what prive we get
Since the bosses have boosted physical defense this rotation, I think a special focused team would be best. I'm thinking something like:
-Sylveon to lower their spdef with Hyper Voice
-Glaceon Wind + Shard of course for the big damage
-Espeon for the Future Sight executes and lots of stun meter from Psyshock
-Slowbro to omega tank as always
-Gardevoir for damage with Psyshock and both spdef drops and stun meter with Psychic
Either Sylv or Garde could probably be swapped out with Eldegoss if needed. Elde could give meter with basic attacks and Spore plus either move speed for dodging with Tornado or heals with Pollen
