Even as a pro videographer, I underestimated how challenging making content would be. So first I recommend the basics: 4k camera (under $2k), SD card (300mb/s), and a tripod. Best purchase I made is an aputure 120D to easily light my setup. THIS IS HUGE. Not relying on a window or a bunch of little lights which is a headache. Turn on my 120D and i'm ready to film for TH-cam or TikTok. I make educational content so I enjoy a mic stand that clips to my desk for my TH-cam setup. Deity shotgun mic is clutch with adjustable gain and is affordable. All the content I mentioned is affordable for beginners.
