my brother had the same bike a 1993 XR600R, his mate brought a TT600R , they got them within a month, did a 3 day enduro and both finished but not without running out of fuel and having to borrow some, the TT600 would wheel stand easier but the xr felt stronger out of corners both were great bikes.later i myself had a 2006 xr650r for a while but wished I'd keepet my 97 xr400 as i found that the xr650 was top heavy compared to the smaller 400. i reckon that you are doing really well on the big thumper. nice work.
Thanks! Surprisingly I’ve never ran out of gas yet in a race even with stock tank. It’s a very comfortable predictable bike with fantastic low end torque!
@@nosyjoe they were great bike's, the right mix of power and weight. long high speed riding and you will find the reserve in the fuel tank. that' when they drink. but all big bike's do that. the latest xr650 has a push button. i nearly fell over when i saw it .
