- This time we stayed at the "Iouodani Onsen/Kirishima Hotel" in Kirishima City.
It is a long-established hotel in Kirishima, a hot spring resort in Kagoshima Prefecture.
Iouodani Onsen has a history of more than 300 years.
The hot spring resort of Kirishima is also famous as the place where Ryoma Sakamoto visited on his first honeymoon in Japan.
The spring water is lukewarm and full of hot-spring flowers. It will make your skin and hair smooth.
The "Garden Baths," which are as large as a swimming pool and resemble a theme park, are a sight to behold.
This time we stayed in a "Japanese Modern" room in the East Wing.

15年前に鹿児島市内に転勤で3年住んでました、霧島懐かしいです週末よくドライブしました
鹿児島本当に大好きです。今は東京ですが九州旅行に出かけたいです
霧島は涼しいので好きです😊また旅行に行けるようになるといいですね。

動画ありがとうございます。20年くらい前に宿泊しました。森のラウンジは以前は食事をするところだった様な気がします。ホテル業界も色々と変化を付けて楽しめる様に努力されてますね
ラウンジはそうだったんですね☻老舗のホテルであっても近年の影響は大きいように感じます。努力が報われるよう、元の賑わいが早く戻るといいですね。

霧島ホテルはよかったです、温泉もよかったけど硫黄で目が痛いです!、夜食は料理はいろんものがありました、食べた場所は杉パレスではなかった、会場でした
硫黄強いですが、トロトロでいいお湯ですね。会場でも食べたことありますが、お料理も季節に合わせて工夫されてて美味しかったです😊
霧島の二代高級ホテルには止まらないんですか
もしかして天空の森と藤の花ホテルとかでしょうか。なかなか高級すぎて泊まれる日は遠そうです😸
