Y’all just find anything to hate on, tried starting a new wave of hating on RBG like bro, RBG is unique in its own sense and looks good for what it is.
Connor's is probably my favorite. It is the small details that weren't mentioned that really set it apart for me. The Bamboo floor plant is amazing. You don't often see big plants on the floor as a way to frame a setup and it is really working here with the super warm and cozy vibes. The other detail is the mountain decal on the wall. It really leans into that cozy feel of being in the cold mountains, but in a warm room all while maintaining the minimalist nature. Well done!
Conners setup is more then minimalistic, i can see how much work this guy put in to his setup its one of the sickest setups i've seen! thank you ed for another banger setup wars
Junior’s setup transformation is crazy! I actually remember watching setup war 204 and reacting to the scenery of where he placed his last setup, but I really admire the change and effort he put in for his new minimalistic one! Great video! I enjoyed watching minimalistic setups!
i loved the first 1 cause 1 screen layout is the definition of minimalism. it's a state of mind, where everything unecessary is removed. 3 or 6 monitor isn't necessarily for the system to boot properly. at any moment.
personally i love how minimal yet detailed connors setup is, what i like the most about connors setup is the warming feel you get just from looking at it and as such i have decided to take some inspiration from his setup to re-design my own setup
With Zac's setup, the copper water block definitely compliments the copper color of the speakers and industrial lamp. I actually love it! The airflow thing will be of minimal concern with a custom loop, but could see ever so slight performance boost by switching those. As for the cables, the motherboard stock cables are fine, but sleeved gpu cables with cable clips would add that slightest touch of refinement.
My favorite thing to do is get home from school every other Monday and watch Setup Wars. It inspires me so much to build my own PC setup (I have a minimal Mac setup right now). It also motivates me to keep saving up for my first PC!
Hey Ed, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your daily uploads. It is incredible that the amount of effort and quality in your videos are produced daily.
I like Zac's setup the best. I would LOVE to know how he likes the LS50 Metas in nearfield like that. With them being close to the wall, I wonder if bass is too strong. I'm considering Kefs for my set up as well.
i've seen a decent amount of comments on youtube videos about airflow in cases, whether its in general or for water cooling, by engineers. they basically say that the way and amount of heat generated in a computer case is so miniscule that pretty much any airflow overcomes it and worse case scenario is that the heat goes out of a hole in the case rather than through the exhaust fan
Connor's setup looks good. But i like the way Junior arrange his gear and his cable management is what impressed me the most considering how he has a pc and a console.
Even though you roasted his computer, I gotta go with Zac's setup. It's mature, it's masculine with soft touches. The shelves with the plants give it a "home" aesthetic. I love a well made butcher block desk. As an alternative to Danish Oil, he could have gone with a Rubio Mono Coat and ceramic finish for durability and shine.
Production nitpicking for Ed: @8:40 Saying "If I do say so myself" would not apply here since that idiom means to praise one's own work/actions (ex. My bowling skills look impressive if I do say so myself). @7:08 You mentioned to the submitter "get a pair of really nice headphones" and even have a strange red graphic but don't explain your reasoning.
Connor definitely has the best setup in my opinion. Its cozy and the wall art is dope. Raphael has a great setup but i feel the over use of the off white wallpaper felt a little tacky imo. Great setups none the less!
It’s a toss up between Connor’s and Raphael’s for two different reasons. Connor’s aesthetic is super chill which I love in a setup. Raphael’s arrangement and that pop of RGB is cool too
@tele_grammetechsource_giveaway I feel like TechSource would A) Send a private DM. B) the account to be older than 10 days, considering the length of time TechSource has been doing giveaways. I mean, I'd love to be wrong...
With Zac's setup, I think you need to look a little bigger picture, and you'll understand the copper. The copper matches the wood and grey/black theme really well and ties it in together. I believe it was a purposeful intent. As far as fans go, it honestly looks like he simply had the fan direction backwards when building it, and then decided to leave it because he isn't running into heat issues yet.
@@TuckersPaving well the lamps on the sides are halogen or whatever but the only other lights are govee light bars that are taped to the back of my monitor
the setup im going for is a super clean black grey dark wood brown comfortable setup with perhaps some plants and a way to throw in personality and color with accessories.

Me as 13yo kid in the 90's: Mon, can you buy me this new Mario game for NES?. Mom: -If you behave well, maaaybe you'll get is as a Christmas present. 13yo today: Awesome beast ultra minimal station with 3 displays, RTX 4090, custom preriferals for gaming AND editing content in 8k :D
9:22 the copper block is in theme with the speakers and the table lamp, the nickel block would be odd in his setup IMO. Custom cables would be nice though with black with copper accent cables. Then match the RGB lighting on his fans and water block with copper theme also. Fix the crooked piping also.
For me this is a toss up between Connor & Zac but after careful consideration I have to give it to Connor the kid has talent ,and is a definite up & comer.
You surprise me Edgar, you don't know how much of an inspiration you are.. You taught me how money doesn't matter skills do I don't have the money right now (money enough for a small start) but one day I'd surely love to work my way up to where you stand, but just in India
i suspect the reason for zac's choice of copper waterblock is due to the fact that his speakers has copper tinted center's, and it goes well with the color of his desk, a very black & copper aesthetic
Yeah, it's right, i'm the raphael mentioned in the video and i started as an industrial mechanic at 17, it's a common age in germany to start, there are even some people that are under that age.
They are both from etsy from a guys shop called urban industrial craft, i got the dimmer option so the lighting is a little more moody and reddish but they can get very bright
@@sharkyy12 I absolutely love your set up!! Gonna get thoes exact lamps. Just wondering, is there lighting on the back of the monitor as well or is that just way the light is refracting? I can't quite tell..
@@adamallison8758 yep so the lighting on the back of the monitor is actually govee Rgb light bars that are taped to the back and are color matched to the side lamps, also get the dimmer option the lamps if you want a dimmer more orangeish - reddish hue instead of a bright yellow hue but the dimmer gives you both options too
All great setups. I'm more of rgb like Raphael, but I really like Connners warm lighting. Interesting that there's not one curved monitor in any of the setups.
One of my dreams is to compete in your setup wars video but i need to work so much to get to the point where i even have a point to show my setup. Anyway connors setup is the best of them all.
Odd that Ed didn't notice that clearly he went with the copper gpu (and cpu) block because he wanted the copper to be a mini color scheme along with the copper color on the speakers.

Rooms like Raphael's are actually pretty common in germany, I myself also have this kind of ceiling in my room.
The roof seems kinda neat.
Connor deserves SOA, his set up looks insane
Connor and Zac setup looks.
Reminded me of gaming setup but classic rustic design!
his gpu block matches his cpu block and his speakers and the few copper accents around his setup its a pretty kool detail if you catch it
even connor's actual setup looks like a 3d render oml 😍😍
The great structuring of setup wars inspires me and my own news show
