- GoPro Hero 9 village cricket batting against Fulbeck CC. We bowled first and restricted them to 153 off 30 overs. In reply we knocked it off in 20 overs with only 3 wickets down. I opened the batting and was seeing it like a pumkin, so much so that I scored my fastest ever 50.

Takes me straight back to high school days in Queenstown, SA - only thing better than watching the game is having a go yourself. Aw man. Gem of an innings there. I can relate. Some days you get on the park, you take a few sighters and it feels as if the bowlers are lobbing birthday cakes at you. Once went in to bat at 4 with score 12/2 after 4 overs. I ended up scoring 102* off 55 balls, chasing down 155 in 21 overs.

@@canyoucricket It was. I remember the first and last boundary I hit. The last one was a 6 to go from 96 to 102 and to win the game. EVERYTHING else remains a blur. I've seen you play some innings thus far that tells me you know what those innings feel like.

I could literally see the ball hit the bat with many shots. is this camera placement or can we deduce that this meant your helmet was tracking the ball (and hence your eyes?) in some previous videos it seemed your camera (and eyes?) were slow to move with the ball.

The only ever boundary i have hit was a straight drive over the bowlers head and it just came off the middle of the bat and it was a great sound but hearing it over and over again from you is great and imo it is one of the nicest sounds ever.

Caidan Gower; get yourself in some friendly T20 evening sides/matches... its basically rude not to take risks in that form of the game (especially if you're lower half of the order and there are only a couple of overs to go), so you can clock some 4s and 6s (or get out trying!) to your hearts content!

Did you find that the softer English wickets stuffed up your timing? Moving from a back foot trigger movement opening bat was a huge adjustment. How have you found that adjustment?
Yes a bit of an adjustment making sure you get forward as much as possible. Got trapped LBW quite a lot when I first arrived..

I used a Kookaburra Gold Crown back in the 90's, it gave me thousands of runs as an opener. You're a big fish in this pond, I'd like to see some quicker bowling, you can handle it.
