hi false! im so glad you're playing decked out 2 in your own paste, and learning on your own. I get that it can be really annoying having people commentate things you should/shouldn't do so much, its just for fun after all! loving the content, keep it up
Hi False, thanks for posting your full runs! Please don't get me wrong, you are probably so sick and tired of the backseat crowd, of which I am one. But for your own sanity's sake, if you didn't know, treasure works like this (from my understanding watching Tango's livestreams): every treasure in a treasure card (and every ember in an ember card) has only a certain chance of generating a drop, and at every dropper there's another randomizer, giving that specific dropper a chance or not of dropping that time. There's only a per level set amount of times treasure can get triggered, because certain people were farming so much on the same level. So if you stay in the same area for too long, you might get unlucky and reach that per-level treasure drop limit, and thus it won't help if you draw more treasure cards after that: you won't get any more treasure on that level. So you really have to move around and risk dying from ravagers if you don't get a key upstairs for a few minutes, or the keys that might have dropped elsewhere can despawn, and max treasure limit might have been reached. Also, if you reach max clank, all treasure and ember drops are deactivated. If you knew all this beforehand, I apologize, but it seems like you are convinced that as long as you have a chance of treasure cards still being in your deck, you can just wait it out, but that isn't really the case if you reach the treasure limit. So my unsolicited advice is going around at least one other area before locking yourself off upstairs, and if you're lucky, it drops in the first area, and if not, it might have dropped upstairs in the meantime, but at least you covered a few more droppers than just the upstairs ones. But you can obviously play exactly how you want, and I don't want you to stop having fun because of backseaters like me.
I'm aware how treasure works, but also know that my runs will never be perfect. I've had a 'no key' run previously where there was only ever 1 key dropped on Level 1 in the only spot I hadn't checked - so it isn't unlikely that could happen again. But also know that in the Dungeon, time feels different and decisions aren't always made correctly. It isn't that I don't understand these things - it's that at the time you hope a key will eventually pop up. And 9 times out of 10 it has done in those spots for me. But people like to point out the times I don't get it and therefore waste time/don't get one. :D
@@FalseLive Thanks for the reply, and you've made some very good points. Most of the time, you get a key within a few minutes anyway indeed. I just wanted to make sure you knew about the treasure limit because even though Tango is fairly good at giving out such info, you seem to mostly be active at different times due to timezones and obviously us viewers don't know what's in your Discord. For what it's worth, I enjoy watching people who play more like I expect most of us viewers would - in other words, not like Etho and Cub. They're just on a different level and it's an unfair comparison. I just want to watch someone having fun and playing at their own level, no matter where it's at. I enjoyed watching Mumbo even though he panicked a lot, as an example. So I hope you can play and have fun with it, and we'll cheer you on and feel relieved when you win, and hope for better luck when you don't. Keep being you. :)
Thanks for being understanding - and tbh, we don't get a lot of info about changes in Discord etc. I do have to usually go back to Tango's streams to check when he updates things - that and ask my own Discord/Twitch chat. So it's fair to expect I may miss stuff. But i'm glad you're enjoying it nonetheless. Of course i'd love to be better at it - i'm fairly competitive myself sometimes, but man.. it is more difficult than it can look - especially watching the 'pros' 😂
@@FalseLive Yeah that's what I expected; us viewers tend to become so good at knowing what to do in our own minds, it's easy for us to criticize when we're not the ones actually playing. But once we get the world download I think many of us are in for some humble pie. :D
Glad you got a win at the end there! I've seen several other hermits pass up sprint because they were afraid it would mess up their parkour, so I think you might be the only one who has it. Maybe it'll be your secret weapon.
GG False! So sad about the two artifacts you were able to get but not get out of the Dungeon. :( Glad you picked up a great card at the end there. I hope you're able to get some fun cards - I bet you'd do amazing things with Bounding Strides. ^_^
*puts fingers in ears* LA LA LA LA LA NO SPOILERS YET PLEASE I don't want to risk watching the last minute of the video xD False, did you do any more Phase 5 runs? Or did you save the rest of the shards for Phase 6?
you're reading too literally - I likely mean at the time that i'm getting ones I don't need / have too less of the ones I do. Plus it's mostly the low level cards.

I've seen several other hermits pass up sprint because they were afraid it would mess up their parkour, so I think you might be the only one who has it. Maybe it'll be your secret weapon.

Loving the skin False!
That second run was so tense! GG!
Final two eggs are on top of level 2, my guess for one is the bunk room something to do with the ladders.
Gred is greg and not a egg
