Hell yeah, I work for a company and my route list consists of 6 miles of city sidewalk. I have a ventrac with a power broom, salt box, and heated cab and I can’t explain how awesome a power broom is!!!
Power broom is definitely a nice piece of equipment for snow removal. It has it's limits but for the Kansas City area it will probably be your go to for most snow events.
I just got a broom attachment for my Woods mower which is identical to a grasshopper. Paid 450 and it works like a dream. Only thing is that it blows a cloud of snow in your face. Guess I'll have to wear a rain suit and face shield but it is freaking awesome. Your stand on is awesome.
Glad you got some snow! That broom cleans the pavement soo well! In addition, no need for salt after using that broom because of how well it cleans to the pavement
Id be curious how the broom brushes wear through the season. If you need to replace the brushes often if you use it often? You are correct that nothing gets down to pavement like a broom. I would like to see it perform in wetter, heavier snow. I look forward to your next vid. Thank you.
Nope, with my company we use the power broom to clean up parking lots, after big landscape and hardscape projects, etc. with being at the company for over a year now, we haven’t replaced them. I’d say it gets about 100 hours of use a year including snow
We always had good luck with the brooms we had when I worked for the local DPW. They were half steel/ half poly bristles every other section. The steel definitely increased the life of the whole broom compared to if we ran strictly poly bristles. The broom was on a JD3720
lol I feel sorry for your neighbor in the back shoveling. I live in kc would love to meet you. I have a lawncare biz as well. been at it for 4 years now.
@@bblawncarekc the plow will run circles around the power broom. Make sure you have snow tires and wheel weight kit. Back drag the garage doors and push everything towards both ends of the driveway. You’ll get the hang of it quick.

I agree, it wouldn’t touch a mountain storm which is what I’m used to. I’ve woken up and the snow has been deeper than my Honda blower.

Imagine the power broom but with a plow on the front of it and a auger between both of them to move the snow from the broom to one side
looks slick!! I want longer videos please!
The power broom seems perfect for clearing sidewalks fast.
That did work really good but my tape measure must differ from yours lol
It's like a fishermen measuring his fish.
that looks more like 3inches but still did a good job
What machine is that?
For me the brush works best on 3 inches or less.

No salt needed👍

Can't see a reason to not just use the snowthrower attachment
Nice machine! 💪
Your neighbor be jealous his shovel can’t do that lol
