Stumbled across your channel on a TH-cam binge and glad I did. Some awesome choices of music to react to; this is one of my favourite albums in the math rock / jazz rock scene and this track in particular is a favourite. Really cool to see someone talk about it at length.
Interesting stuff. I guess you'd call it jazz fusion, but it's unlike most jazz fusion I've heard in that the rock element mostly just comes through occasionally in the drums, but rarely elsewhere. Meanwhile the piano is also adding touches of more traditional/classical Japanese music with the scales and melodies, almost sounds like it could be from an RPG soundtrack at times. I'm not sure if it wowed me enough to run out and listen to their stuff, but definitely the kind of music I'd enjoy in a certain mood.
