The English sub missed how these Good Samaritan addressed the actor, the young people called him either grandpa (爺爺) or senior elder (大爺), middle age called him senior uncle (大爺), a way to show closeness and respect. It really warms my heart, I live in US and teenagers call me (senior) by name which is nothing wrong, but to me it is uncomfortable.

The hold-my-bag-kid was indeed nearing his limit. He starts 'fish mouthing.' He was losing the ability to form words to convince the guy to give back the money. Everything the actor said just pissed the kid off exponentially. His very righteous outrage had reached the point that the time for words was over.
I remember one time a blind woman ask me to give her directions to go to her home, but she was new in the city and her home was quite far, like ten blocks away, so I offered to accompany her. When walking she asked me to withdraw money from the ATM. She give me her credit card and password, and with that I I took the money out of the machine and gave it to her along with her card. Nor in my more repugnant nightmare I would steal a blind person, never. A few days later she invited me to her home to drink "mate" (an Argentinian infusion) and eat cookies ☺️

The hold-my-bag-kid was indeed nearing his limit. He starts 'fish mouthing.' He was losing the ability to form words to convince the guy to give back the money. Everything the actor said just pissed the kid off exponentially. His very righteous outrage had reached the point that the time for words was over.

I remember one time a blind woman ask me to give her directions to go to her home, but she was new in the city and her home was quite far, like ten blocks away, so I offered to accompany her. When walking she asked me to withdraw money from the ATM. She give me her credit card and password, and with that I I took the money out of the machine and gave it to her along with her card. Nor in my more repugnant nightmare I would steal a blind person, never. A few days later she invited me to her home to drink "mate" (an Argentinian infusion) and eat cookies ☺️
