What a nice job you are making of that boat!
I’m a retired carpenter and I’d say you have done great .Your channel is very real and I can well imagine the ups and downs involved in the renovation . Well done to you both 👍😊
Nice. Looks great
More videos PLEASE ❤❤❤❤❤❤
My wife and I came across your channel by accident, so glad we did... just finished binging EVERY episode. So proud of both of you for putting yourselves out there and taking on what would be a daunting project for pretty much anyone. Of course we've both subscribed as we can't wait to see the boat finished and the adventures you will both enjoy in it 💙
Thank you! We’re so happy you enjoyed watching the vlogs, what a lovely comment 😊
Yes safety first and the lawful side needs it 👍
Good Lord what a smashing couple you are. I wish you all the very best for your exciting adventure. My own lovely wife and I just about at the same stage as you with our build but our plan is to retire onto the boat. All the very best to you. We will be following your every post x
Thank you! That is a very exciting retirement plan :) All the best with your build! x
Thank you. I'm still working Monday to Friday at the moment so only have the weekends. Of late though its been quite dry and sunny during the week and pouring of a weekend. So frustrating. So much to do. Thankfully the owner of the field its in is very kind to us. We should be on the water about this time next year but by then it will be too wet to get a crane in to lift it so realistically we're aiming for spring '25
That's me up to date after binge-watching the whole series. Can't wait for the next episode. Awesome job guys.
Always looking forward to your next entertaining blog 👍👍👍👍
Coming on beautifully 👍
Nooo too short a video 😭 loving the kitchen. Great seeing you both 🥰👋🏾
Nice guy's. Well done. This will be a beautiful kitchen soon
Thanks Anna we hope so 😅
So glad this came up on my YT home page! I have just binge watched your build series and really enjoyed it thank you. You both seem like awesome people and make a great couple. Looking forward to the next video. All the very best to you both, Andi.
I’m so pleased to see you back. Great work, one day it will all be finished and you’ll be able stand back and look at it and say, we did that!
It's finally coming together ❤️ 🎉
Thanks David ... Still a while off but it's nice to be putting stuff in for a change 😅
It's nice to you both posting again and working together to create your dream.
Nice to see another video from you guys, kitchen looks fantastic. Nesha you are a very pretty young girl, I like your hair curly. I hope thats OK to say that. Keep going guys,, Cheers Millysue
Great to see you both back on the boat. The water turned out to be a non issue that was good to see. I can see you both overcoming the glitches as you have done before many times just waiting for you to finish the work then the fun will begin. Stay safe and keep smiling Ed 40 S of Vegas
Awesome work guys, looking great. Don’t forget, for BSS all LPG joints need to be accessible for inspection, that may mean building in access holes in the sides of the cabinets to they can be reached. I noticed the cooker connection as you were dropping it into place. Keep up the great work, enjoying watching.
….you could also unscrew the cooker and pull it forward to access the final connection on BSS day 😊
Thanks for your comment ....we are getting there haha 😅 ah yes ... The space under the cooker we are gonna leave open and put a half shelf in so we can access all fittings but the oven/hob will be movable for test day haha
Rolling along now.
I thought you had forgotten the narrowboat watchers. Happy y’all are back on the boat!
Haha nope we havnt forgotten we have just been extremely busy with our full time jobs and weddings and vacations😅 it's been a busy few weeks
Good to see you back, and I think I agree on the lines sometimes not being perfect, it's an old boat, so it's never going to be 100% perfect, but then I also agree that if you know its out of line you will see it every time. Do love that as you film the cooker being fitted that someone outside was filming you as well, do hope you know them 🤔🤔
Great to see you back 🙂
Glad it was only grass causing a problem and not that your narrowboat was sinking !
The kitchen's going to be great
Great to see another vlog again. Was hoping you were ok
So glad to see you back !! Great job !!
Brilliant teamwork - you are fantastic and love your cooker. What a perfect size. Every best wish.
Any updates coming? There's a lot of fans waiting...
New video is up ... We try to get vlogs out when and where we can as we both work full time. Hope you enjoy😅
Hey Mike, turn the tap 90 degrees so the handle is to the side (right unless left handed🤙
Heyya ... We were gonna do that but the handle hits the wall so you can't put the tap fully on. We've worked out a solution but havnt implemented it yet 😂🙈
Some really Nice work Guys 👍.
Great to see you posting videos again,we were starting to get a bit worried about You ❤
Thanks guys much appreciated ha. Just been a very busy few months. I'm amazed we've managed to get this far both working full time and long distance ha😅
Nice work! Working on narrowboats brings a whole different set of problems not found when renovating houses. It is like chess, you need to keep thinking five moves ahead. On such a point the Belfast sink is pretty deep, can you get the waste to run out of the side of the boat at a reasonable height above the waterline? I think the recommendation is 250mm, anything less than that usually gets a note on the BSS but not a fail. Many boats do not comply and are still afloat. Fit an automatic bilge pump, £50 is cheap to save finding the boat on the bottom.😅
Thanks for your comment much appreciate. I think it is too low but we are gonna fit a pump and do it that ways so it's all gonna be fine 🙈😂👍🏼
Looking great, love it when things start going back in. Was that a film crew outside the boat? Good to see you back. Best wishes Christine x
Good job! As the old idiom goes... "Now you're cooking with gas" Major milestone once those are up and running.
Yes not long now!
My meme advice is to fi d/ narrowest diyers & they can. B ready for the tough questions. ❤
Good team work there. Its going to look fabulous 😊
The water in the engine bay, have you checked your stern gland ? Just a thought.
Thanks Jonathan much appreciated. Yup checked that and it's not that... And it was only in 1 of the 3 compartments ... Since the video we've made sure to clear the gutters whenever we are at the boat and the problem hasn't returned .... Yet...😅
👍
could also try the tap at the side of the sink instead of behind it
Possibly haven't thought of that ... We will have to discuss ... If not I have a way of doing it haha
can use the cutouts as chopping boards and or sink filler as work surface?
Great ideas!!! Possibly cutting boards ... As the sink is raised I think it would mark/scratch it if we did that but they will definitely be used dw 💪🏽
What brand is the oven? I love it!
Is that kind of blind not a dirt collector? Would blackout blinds not be a better option?
Circular saw needs a new blade it’s burning the wood instead of cutting it, keep up the good work.
Yup ... Its had a new blade a few months ago but I got it for general work so will need to change it to a fine tooth soon 🙈
If you on about water luw have that a bout a compost luw to save water just look in to it just following you on the journey all the best
If i was working like you are on that boat had long hair i tie it up and cover as there got to be dust flying every where.
Ive tried 😂😂😂🙈
Wonderful job on the kitchen all that hard work is beginning to pay off, and the grass cutting and water in engine bay happens to everybody it's surprising where it gets to
Yeah it is surprising how grass gets in all the nooks and crannies haha
Do it not say to use that oven inside
Shouldn't you be putting the internal right before fitting out.
Hi Peter thanks for your comment... Can i ask what you mean by 'putting right'? If you mean the engine bay water... Its a completely separate compartment and isn't a good seal to the engine lid really but also we havnt installed the electrics fully so we havnt got a bilge pump atm ... Once that's fitted it will take care of itself.
