- This game is HARD ! However, I did manage to pass all 7 missions and all 7 kill frenzies in one run after many attempts. It could have been a lot faster but did not want to mess up a kill frenzy at the end :)
It's funny how all the time you forget to drive on the left side xD
Hahaha yes London is hard because of traffic and your brain takes a long time to adjust to it
And once you get used to it you forget how to drive normally
The amount of timers on this one is insane. It's kinda like a "Grand Theft Auto the lost levels" sort of idea, happy you could make it to the finish! You are the master of Grand Theft Auto my friend. My props to you.

Except the Lost levels are actually fun. This game ridiculously hard. It's a first hard game that i'm gonna drop. And not because it's hard (Lost Levels, Ghosts'n'Ghouls, Ninja Gaiden are also hard). GTA and 1969 were quite hard and clunky on PS1 but it was quite fun and enjoyable experience.
I cannot believe that PC players got that instead. It's not fun and only thing you have to do to accomplish is use exploits, memoization and rely on luck. It's a purely bad game.
WHY DOES EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME HAVE TO BE ON TIME?! It's ridiculous lol.
This game has so many strict timers.
I think GTA is long overdue for a return to London

There were two London Packs for GTA 1. In the video it's London 1961, which is a free PC exclusive.
The other one is London 1969.

Heya! Did you have an issue with this game, where it would just end district after completing TV van mission? I rerouted everything and all I have to do is drive to the end after TV Van, however it just ends game as if I quit (giving me "Had enough, have we?" text instead of the other one + cutscene). As far as I can judge this is not legit, so I wonder if you had that happen and if you know the workaround.
Hey Tezur0, honestly I cannot remember if this was an issue for me 4 years ago. I do remember GTA 1, GTA London 1969 and GTA London 1961 being full of bugs and glitches...these games would crash for no apparent reason all the time and it was very frustrating. Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful but I just can't remember. I do remember this game being the most challenging of all GTA games though...good luck!

@@Tezur0 Windows version...I was running it on an old laptop with Windows 7 but sadly that laptop is now toast lol
Are you try in glide or 8bit mode? I playing in dosbox at normal mode, i try killed myself after complete or get out the van at last instant, in some cases the game crashed. I guess that the problem is the same that happen in chapter 5 in gta 1 after get all bonus lifes.

Hi! Nice run. May I asked how you managed to run the game? You said in a comment below that you're running the Windows version. Are you running it on an authentic Windows 95/98 machine? For me it's been quite painful getting it to run on Windows 7; the menu is corrupted and it crashes when entering the game. In a win98 VM, the Windows version won't work for lack of 3D acceleration. Only the DOS version is doable (DosBox or VM).
Thanks and good question. The PC I had to play this came with Windows Vista but I then upgraded to Windows 7.

@@goldleadpumper1262 It's basically DosBox, but it was repacked/created to run easier on modern systems with support for OpenGL(Glide). The author also included the soundtrack from the both games as well. In short just click GrandTheftAuto.exe to play it the best way possible :P (I recommend glide mode as it runs better on modern computers)

1961 london was for the pc i think
London 1969 was released first for PC and PS1, London 1961 was a PC exclusive released later. The former requires GTA1 to install on PC, the latter requires both GTA1 and London 1969 to install on PC.

Are u stupid? XD 1961 is the name of the game. This is the 1961 addon (a dlc, how is called today) is a mission pack for the original GTA London 1969, set 8 years earlier. You're confusing 1999 which is the date when the game was released, 1961/1969 are the years where the game era is set.
