With you on the early starts. I do all my training before work as I have a young family so tag a couple of hours onto the front end of my commute. Normally out by 5.45 - 6am. Luckily for me, as soon as the cat hears my alarm go off she expects to be fed so I have no peace until I get up - otherwise the temptation to hit snooze would be too great. I make sure everything is set out ready to go, clothes, lights charged and on the bike, bottles by the sink ready to be filled etc. - otherwise I tend to 'faff' about and waste time. Weather may be worse in the winter, but it's nice to see the transition from darkness to daylight.
Just want to give you a shout out from the other side of the pond. I have to say that it is inspiring to see you getting in a good pre dawn ride. I always tell myself that it's money in the bank. Keep up the good work Ed.
Hello ed. my ftp is about 310 watts at about 68 kilos. 68 kilos is my race weight. I'm 17 and have been training properly for 7 months. Went from 220 watts to 310 watts in 7 months. What can I expect to gain in the next 8 months? I train 8-9 hours a week. Cheers your vlogs will sky rocket soon ed. keep up the good work man

We can see that you're super happy with the progress and current fitness. Looking forward to the 312 effort and reaction.
Thank you Keith!

What do you do the rest of the day, go back to bed? Takes discipline and hats off to you Ed.
Considering he said he went to bed at 9:30 that's still a full 8 hours sleep
Love from India!💟
Would love to come out riding with you, I love local to your area in Brecon beacons, keep doing what your doing mate 👍
I'm retired and never roll out the door before 10am
Hey Ed, have you listened to Rogans most recent podcast with David Goggins? Stick him on in the morning and you'll have no problem getting out ;-)
Dude, I'm up at 3h50 for 5h00 ride or hour training session. I can't stomach anything at that time, any shortcuts
Make sure you eat well the night before, liquid carbs may be your friend in the morning. Fuelling on the bike is key on an empty stomach.
@@edlaverack thanks, I started using a only carb drink, before and during.
The phones at 3 percent
Ok?
