Last Summer I went to Florida to visit my aunt and uncle, as I got in the backyard, the first thing I see is a beautiful white Cockatoo. I started talking to him, giving him apple slices and even pet him. Whenever I got out the house to go to the backyard, he’ll always start making noise, I think he liked me, I used to pet him every time I changed his water. By the time summer vacation ended and went back to Texas, he and I had a good bond
I think your videos are so real and really tell potential owners what to really expect. It is okay knowing that a pet isn't right for you but so many people take offence. Meghan you are amazing, and so many people appreciate you and what you do! Never forget you always have more love than hate here :)
He is absolutely beautiful! I love the noise he made at the end. I really love birds, but I don't think I could handle owning one, sadly. You have a lot of fans, so try to ignore the hate! :) Can you please make a video about ball python care? I know you made one about their environment, but I'd love to watch one that talks more about their personalities, handling, etc!
I can see how you both are bonded so well by watching this video and how she goes away and comes back to your fingers right away and how intelligent she are!!!
A great example people use when referring to adopting/buying a large parrot. Basically you committing to caring for the parrot version of a 2-5 years old human that never grows up. Be prepared for mess, loud noises and to have to constantly keep an eye on them to make sure they're not getting into trouble, but if you are prepared for all it takes to care for one or more and understand how they behave and why. Owning a large parrot is extremely rewarding and can improve both your life and the bird/s as well.
