I hope this drama gets on netflix so that it reaches a wider audience. Superb drama, breaking all the stereotypical tropes of a pakistani drama
I just don't get, how this drama became successful in breaking stereotypical tropes?
@malik shifa , for starters just 8 episodes and not 25+ with flashbacks ,unnecessary plots .
Not a saas bahu saga, not an oppressed moping protagonist.
The message is so important. It didn't show love or affairs as a black or white thing on a woman's character, its grey. Laila yearned for a better life and I'm glad she said her truth to all and got her happy ending.
First of all, amazingly directed by Yasir 👏👏👏 Second, the story and message 🙌 Brilliant!!!! Telling this kinda important message story in 6 episodes is not easy and that too at such an excellent level . Kudos to the whole team .. very well done . 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
A story of a vulnerable girl who was exploited by many because there was nobody to protect her. A girl with dreams of a better life and escape from her current reality. Well played by the whole cast.

From comedian role to serious ones every time she gives the best performance.
Iqra lived Laila's character, what a performance. Its a very realistic depiction of our society, she was looking for an escape and finally got it in the end after the moral assassination of her character from those who were doing the same or much worse.
Iqra has such beautiful eyes and she uses them so well in her acting craft, a wonderful actress.

I'm so sad this show has ended, and there is no new episode to look forward to. It was the most intriguing and interesting drama currently on air. But such a beautiful ending!

Kudos to the entire team for this wonderful series. I loved everybody's performance, especially Iqra's (her last scene before the ending where she addressed everyone was brilliantly performed by her). The ending, however, was unexpected, with Laila fleeing with Qais. Are we to assume that Laila lived happily ever after with Qais, or will there be a season 2 where Laila's quest to find her one true soulmate will continue?

@@aayushichauhan8208 The way I understood it is that Qais is her best friend's ex-husband. You remember Faisal qureshi apnee beti k shohar ko hotel mein bohot marta hai lekin humay uska chehra nahi dekhaya jata, uska naam Qais tha, so chances are k yeh wohi Qais hai jo ab Laila k saath hai.

Loved it. Brilliant direction and execution Yasir. Such a nice storytelling with such a great message. Iqra’s acting was on spot. And all the songs were soooo good.
An Engaging story. Captivated the audience interest till the end. Bold work presented in a manner that would touch many hearts and would be acceptable. Great acting and direction. Yasir Hussain excellent work, Iqra Aziz was remarkable as always. The rest of the actors have given a life to play! Every one gave their 100% and proved that there is an amazing talent in Pakistani industry.

The most important message of this drama is that life is not just black and white..it's actually about the grey in between. Laila accepted her mistakes nd didn't justify her doings...was the best part for me. Coz everyone dreams big nd wants the best, but we need to be realistic nd practical at the same time. It's a known fact that girls who are frank nd friendly, are often seen as easy targets by people. But lastly, I didn't understand that if Qais loved Laila, how did Saba come in between???

The last episode and the story that is unveiled is fantastic. It is the utter reality of society. Laila's dialogues in the last episode can be felt deep by most of the women who have gone through the same or somewhat similar experiences. Entry of shehryaar as Qais was the perfect surprise. Kudos to yasir hussain and team for the amazing storyline n beautiful execution of the same. This story should be shown on a much bigger platform because it is what society needs to understand.

When I saw the episode first I thought they threw in sheharyar munawar's character qais into the mix so that Laila could have a happy ending but I realized that this qais is the same qais Saba was married to😶
