    I'm the developer of Code Snippets, and just wanted to thank you for covering our plugin. It's wonderful to see Code Snippets in action in a real-world example

      Yo Shea! Thanks for all the work you’ve done and creating such a solid tool! I’m happy to say that I’m a short time it’s already transformed our process with big improvements. And it’s made applying code to WordPress fun again! It make me want to geek out, write some code just to add more snippet!

      @shea I appreciate code snippets, but my issue is with Freemius' tracking. Although you have the option to opt out, they continue to follow your other plugins and themes, which I believe is a security risk. That was the only option that convinced me to use WP Codebox. However, it has an excellent user interface.

      @@sngigi2011 I can confirm that with tracking disabled, all we can see is what version of Code Snippets you are on - no other plugin or theme data.

    100% on board with you doing more on Code Snippets. You convinced me to buy Pro for my CSS. I'd love to see you go on a deep dive into using snippets in Elementor (and Bricks). Let's apply them as shortcodes, modify WP admin, patch Elementor widgets, hit on elements by ID, and just everything about hacking canned HTML/CSS/JS/PHP you can think of. You are one of two of the deep-dive guys that I pay a lot of attention to! Thanks for your just excellent videos.

    You mentioned seeing more tutorials regarding Code Snippets. Absolutely! It's good to see you back and creating content. I will look into the Code Snippets Pro unless I find that "Work-around" you mentioned to add CSS

    You sold me on it, I just murdered the customizer with CSS, changing anything is a pain.

    Thank you Jeffrey! I will go for it to include structured data that I create with an online (free) schema generator. The lifetime offer is off the table by now (Sept 19th), though.

    What is the difference between Codesnippets plugin vs "custom code" native in elementor pro?

    • @LytboxStudio
      @LytboxStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. The built in Custom Code on Elementor is great for adding in snippets or code like tracking snippets and live chat snippets for example, and the display conditions make this very useful.
      But a code manager line Code Snippets Pro takes it way further by giving the option to add CSS, PHP, an JS and being able to organize it all.

      I sure do. But carefully. It’s why we stopped using addons to make sure our sites stay lightweight and clean

    That's ...dumb. So if you have a syntax error in one of the php snippets your whole site breaks and there's no way for you to fix the error cause the backend doesn't work.

    • @LytboxStudio
      @LytboxStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm…So you’re saying all the devs using Code Snippets, WP Code Box and similar code management plugins are dumb…syntax errors won’t save in CodeSnippets and if something does happen, it’s an easy fix with a backup or through FTP. I’ve never had an issue.

    • @filip3148
      @filip3148 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LytboxStudio the fact that you think ftp alone would fix that problem tells me you have no idea about web development.
